Description
The Primrose Gite is at right angle to the farmhouse, and part of a beautifully renovated stone barn with exposed timbers throughout. It has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 5 people.
The ground floor is open plan with a lounge and dining area, with a leather suite and dining table and chairs. A new woodburner has been installed. The corner kitchen has just been refitted and has a electric cooker and gashob, a fridge and a microwave oven.
Up the oak spiral staircase there are three bedrooms: on the first floor a double-bedded room, a single bedroom and the shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. Up the next set of stairs is a beamed twin bedded bedroom.

During the season, the owners or a member of the family will be available to answer any questions, help solve any little problems which may arise, and attempt to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The solar heated swimming pool is a good size with paved paths and an area for sitting. It is fenced off for the safety of little ones. There is a separate barn that we allow customers to use as a games room and has table tennis (you might like to bring your own bats) and other games plus reading books to keep you and your family occupied. We do crepes on Monday nights for a nominal charge, and it all totally optional. We have a large playing field also, where many a game of football and rounders, have been enjoyed. Le Cosquer really is the place to recharge your batteries in the tranquility of the Breton countryside. When comparing prices, please note the following: All electricity to UK standard (3 pin plugs) Cots available at no extra cost, please let us know your requirements. Weekly crepe night (Monday) Lake with watersports and beaches about 10 minutes.North coast about 40 minute drive, south coast about an hours drive. Central location for visiting the many historic towns in Brittany, eg Josselin, Vannes and Quimper.

“Beautiful area and gite”
Beautiful region of the Brittany and the gite is comfortable, clean and with style. A short holiday break with my mum, husband, a 5 years old and a 10 months old, the very tranquil feel to the whole farmhouse made the trip very relaxing, despite some rather stressful experiences - our car break down!!! Andy was very very helpful and friendly which might have helped calming the nerve having to deal with insurance company in the foreign country. The gite also made a great impression on my 5 years old who can't wait to go back soon! Many thanks.

“A CALM OASIS IN WONDERFUL COUNTRYSIDE”
Very clean and well presented. The Gites were furnished to a high standard and were an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. The facilities included use of laundry facilities and a great big chill out barn where the kids and adults could meet/play or just chill. Monday nights are not to be missed with Andy cooking crepes of your choice. Our hosts were friendly and obliging and full of useful information on where to go and what to see.The kids could play safely in beautiful surroundings. The big bonus is a swimming pool which was most welcome during the hot afternoons

“All family members enjoyed our stay at Le Cosquer”
We have just come back from a weeks holiday in France staying at Le Cosquer, Andy and Jo are extremely nice and very helpful. We stayed in the Primrose Gite which seemed a bit small when we first arrived but it was totally adequate for me my husband, two teenage girls and my 6 year old son. It is clean and tidy and well maintained. It is in a very quiet area of France so a car is essential as you need to travel to shops, restaurants and beaches. The highlight of the kids holiday was the pool which is big enough for all staying and my kids where in it as much as they could which is open 10am to 7pm on a daily basis. There is not alot to do in the evenings, apart from Crepe night which we enjoyed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Le Cosquer

“Fantastic "gite", location, holiday & hosts, can't wait to return”
We have just returned from our first trip to France with the kids, we had a fab time and was largely due to the holiday accomodation, hosts and facilities. We stayed in Primrose Gite with my wife and two children aged 10 and 8. Having 3 bedrooms was a bonus and the open plan living space, although fairly small was big enough and complemented by the large barn with tables, chairs, table tennis and other games. Also your own patio table and chairs right outside your property where we ate every meal. Highlight for our kids has to be the barn and swimming pool. The pool was open from 10-7 every day, and was plenty big enough. The Gite is in the middle of the countryside and everywhere is a car or bike journey, but that said, all you needed was within 5-10minutes drive. The nearby lake (approx 15minutes drive) was great, really safe and plenty to do. The local town and markets were good and everyone welcomed you. Overall an excellent holiday and we'll be back again to explore the area some more.
