Description

Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali) is an exclusive luxury mountain retreat with a definite 'wow' factor. This modern villa is 'built into' the dramatic view -1,025 metres above sea level - in Kayu Putih, a nearby traditional North Balinese village. It is perched so high in the mountain that sometimes it is shrouded by clouds but mostly offers panoramic mountain, valley and ocean views to take the breath away. A dramatic feature is the 10 metre x 3 metre infinity lap pool built along the property's viewing edge.

The Villa is about six kilometres up the mountain, through the village of Kalibukbuk, from the tourist centre of Lovina, which is some 8 kilometres west of the former Indonesian capital Singaraja.

Surrounded by nature, this unique villa, described as 'daring and bold' by visitors, is adjacent to a beautiful temple and shaded by a huge sacred tree.

This beautiful mountain retreat is about 1.5 kilometres further up the mountain from the renowned five-star Damai Resort and its altitude makes it a comfortable five degrees cooler than on the coast. Surrounded by palm and teak trees, natural jungle beauty and aromatic clove plantations, Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali) is, however, just 25 minutes from the restaurants, bars, musical entertainment, shopping, local markets, fishing and beachfront dolphin tours offered by the nearby Bali north coast tourist centre of Lovina.

For guests who enjoy tours and activities, the villa is also nearby to such north coast attractions as Menjangan Island in Bali's national park, famous for its world-class SCUBA diving and snorkeling ("better than the Barrier Reef", according to one Australian). Or perhaps you would like to visit the coral reclamation beach at Pemuteran to the west, which is like swimming in an aquarium. There are also spectacular waterfalls, lakes, bathing in hot springs, a turtle farm, a pearl farm, coffee plantations, golfing in a volcano's caldera about 2 hours away, and even volcanic mountain and lake trekking activities available.

The spectacular view from the extensive front patio of Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali), complete with a big jacuzzi, looks over Lovina to the Bali Sea, across the mountain valley and eastwards down the Singaraja coast. At night, the coastal plain from the patio looks like a field of sparkling diamonds and often, haunting gamelan music and the voices of chanting Hindu priests can be heard as geckos bark and roosters crow; such atmosphere. The large patio is also ideal for 'dining in the view' and also has lounge seats for enjoying gins and tonics, conversation and good company, or perhaps just for guests to meditate or bury themselves in a good book. If the fancy takes guests, they can also choose to dine in the pool-side Bale downstairs.

This luxury hideaway, with Balinese and Javanese style interior decor, has three bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathroom, two with more than king-sized beds and one with two singles. There are also two traditional Indonesian 'day beds' - one in the study and one in the main living area - so Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali) can sleep and accommodate up to 8 people, if needed. Group bookings of up to 8 people are the most economical as the 'per head' cost is lower. The main bedroom offers particularly spectacular views through windows across the front and has an exclusive entrance door to its own 'private garden' and private gazebo, to the rear of the villa. Downstairs there is even a large media and games room.

This villa, built into the terraced mountainside, has a dramatic infinity lap pool on its lower level, and a jacuzzi on the upper patio. The property has two Bali gazebos and several private areas for peace, solitude and contemplation.

Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali) has unobtrusive help staff, employed from the local villages, who come each day to tend to guests' needs, with meals, drinks, beds and cleaning all handled so visitor's don't have to lift a finger. There is a security guard on duty during the night. There is also a spacious modern kitchen should guests wish to prepare their own meals or snacks.

There is a Villa Manager on duty , with a 24/7 helpline should any issues arise. The manager can arrange transport, tours, extra meals (continental breakfast is included), and masseurs. He is a font of knowledge with local advice on what's best to see in the area.

OPENING BONUSES: As an opening bonus, guests receive free transport to and from Denpasar Airport (a scenic 3-hour drive each way with many attractions; lakes, monkeys, Bedugul markets and botanical gardens, coffee stops and lunch options en route) if they pay their booking confirmation deposit within 7 days of making an inquiry. Guests who book for 7 nights get one night free and there are further special long term rental discounts for those who book for 30 nights or more, just ask. The minimum booking is four nights.
