Mireystock House and annex offers the Ultimate Forest Holiday retreat. It is an ideal and a lovely place to unwind and share quality time with family and friends.
Built as the Vicarage of Lydbrook in the 1930s, it is a handsome house offering elegant and comfortable accommodation, including annex,sleeps 10/11 persons.
The property boasts a beautiful private indoor heated swimming pool offering a relaxing spa environment.
After a day in the fresh air, you will find a great place to have fun with family and friends in the games room bar, which is furnished with a full size snooker table, bar stools and tables, and PA system. Bring your own drinks!
Set in a lovely gated walled garden in the middle of the Forest of Dean.
The house is ideally situated in the woods for walks and cycling directly from the house. It provides a get away from it all experience, yet conveniently close to road networks, making it easily accessible from the main east to west and north to south motorways: The house is located 16 miles west of the city of Gloucester and 6 miles east of the county town of Monmouth and the many nearby attractions.

“Fantastic 60th birthday”
This is a wonderful house for a family get together. The games/party room is amazing and so is the pool. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be going again in the future.

“Fabulous family holiday”
Three generations of our family had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was perfect for the 10 of us staying, enough space for us all. The swimming pool was a massive hit and well used every day. The snooker/music room/ bar was also a fabulous space. We had such a warm welcome from Lucy and the house was perfectly clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Overall a truly wonderful holiday.

“Family Christmas Break”
We were a family of three generations and all had a wonderful stay at Mireystock. The house was very well equipped and we had no problems at all in cooking a full Christmas dinner. The provision of slip on shoes to travel backwards and forwards to the annex, together with bath robes, slippers and pool towels was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and playing on the full sized snooker table. We also enjoyed walks from the house and were fortunate enough to spot a wild boar in the forest. The house was spotlessly clean and cosy and Lucy was very helpful, both prior, during and after our break. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mireystock, we had a lovely time, thank you.

“Wonderful venue for a family holiday”
9 adults, 2 children and 1 baby enjoyed a brilliant week at this amazing house. The pool was used extensively every day as was the games room. There are plenty of interesting, historical places nearby to visit and lots of lovely walks from the house. We had a lovely warm welcome from Lucie when we arrived and a delicious welcome hamper to start us off. We will be back.
