Ivy Cottage is a delightful 2 bedroom, self catering Victorian style property situated in an ideal location within walking distance of the town centre of Lymington. This cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the Georgian market town of Lymington with its quay and marinas and is only a short distance away from the New Forest National Park with its beautiful walking and cycling trails.

Sorry you felt the cottage smelt 'musty' - the owner has had contractors in to check for any signs of rising damp but nothing showed on their meters. It is a traditional Victorian terrace which is part of its charm but sorry you were not too happy with the cottage ambiance. I have mentioned your comment about the stairs as well and we hope the owner may take on board and put some carpet on the stairs. However we have only had 2 comments about it so he doesn't particularly see it as a problem to most visitors but thanks you for your comments. I

“Great Location”

Great location on a quiet road with an easy walk into the centre of Lymington. The cottage lived up to our expectations, it was well equipped and clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
