Set on the edge of the beautiful village of Vergisson . A peaceful location with the most stunning views . La Croix has been carefully restored using natural stone and timber with much of the original oak roof structure exposed from within.
This is a 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom property adjoining La Roche. “Sunshine in Burgandy”
We had a pleasant stay in Vercosse,Vergusson. The house was clean and modern with most things caterer for. We were very lucky that we had fantastic weather with temperatures averaging 32c. The concierge Collete was very helpful and knowledgeable. The only reasons not to mark 5 are, the pool was quite small for the amount of people staying at all 3 cottages, there is not enough chairs and parasols, property could do with air conditioning and also parking was limited. The area is lovely with fantastic views. The issues are quite minor and I would recommend La Croix for a stay in France.

“Great place to meet new friends and sample local wine”
We came to Vergisonne in July during a really hot spell. The villa we stayed in was lovely, but had a lot of stone steps which made it quite stressful with a toddler around. The managers for the villas were great and could not have done more to make our stay comfortable. The pool was a focal point for the stay and we made some lovely friends sitting around the pool in the evening sharing stories and sampling local wine!! We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family

“beautiful house”
cela a été un superbe séjour. la maison est très bien rénovée et décorée de façon simple mais avec gout. les poutres apparentes amènent beaucoup de caché à l'ensemble. les chambres sont spacieuses et bien lumineuses. elles donnent toutes sur les vignes. nous n'avons pas pu essayer la piscine à cause du mauvais temps. l'accueil est trés agréable et discret tout en étant disponible. le petit plus sympa : 3 bouteilles de vin du vignoble du propriétaire sont mise à disposition pour se faire une idée. la maison est trés bien située pour les ballades à pied, à vélo, les visites de caves, de monuments (Cluny, Macon, etc) Bref un excellent rapport qualité/prix

“Quality accommodation, which was excellent value for money. The views from the property are stunning.”
We were made to feel very welcome and at home at the property, which is situated in a very peaceful location with great views. The quality of the property exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed and more (the internal pictures of the property do not do it justice!). Whilst it is a quiet location, there are plenty of quality restaurants within easy reach and even one within walking distance. Clearly, the region is great for wine tasting and the quality of the wine from the vineyard you are staying on is very good (we took home a couple of cases!). With three properties on the vineyard you share the pool, car park etc. so if you want a totally private location this may not be for you, but otherwise we could not have asked for more and had a great time and the weather was great (we spent 5 days by the pool).

“Fantastic accomodation in a fantastic location”
A great property, which was used by two famalies to enjoy the local area. Wonderful views from all around the complex, great walks close by, pool to sit next to and outdoor eating into the night. The staff looking after the properties were very helpful and could not do enough to make our stay pleasurable. Would recomend it to anybody who does not want the hustle and bustle.
