“Amazing, authentic, gorgeous, romantic, and such sweet people!” My husband and I booked a last minute reservation with Jaya at one of his Bali Udud Villas. It was even better than we expected. Don't hesitate, stay here! We got to stay at two different villas and took a peek at a third, and all were amazing. Each villa is a true balinese escape. The design, architecture, gardens, views and pool were so breathtakingly beautiful. Jaya and his family were extremely sweet and took really good care of us. Wayan made us delicious breakfasts and served them right in our garden next to the pool. Jaya and his nephew gave us rides to wherever we wanted to go (much easier than driving and parking). But we just wanted to stay at the villa--really, it's amazing! Highly recommend! The villas are very well maintained, wifi is reliable, and location is ideal (just out of the madness of downtown Ubud). And very quiet (didn't notice any rooster noise).

“Peaceful retreat in hectic Ubud” We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Nyoman. We have stayed for a week after first staying in Sama' s cottages down the street. We loved the swimming pool and the different seating areas. There is a very nice gazebo that looks out over the pool, an outside bench with comfortable cushions and a daybed in the living room. Drinking water is provided and cleaning is done daily. It is very difficult to find without very precise directions or Made meeting you. A transfer arranged by Made might therefore be a good idea. All communications with Made were very straightforward and he was always easy to reach. The location was good, Jalan Bisma is a nice street with different eating options. We especially liked Cafe des artistes, Miro and Rouge for drinks. Jalan Bisma opens onto the main street of Ubud and that street is very hectic and difficult to walk during rush hour (which at times seemed to be all day). If you are walking and want to get to Monkey Forest Road it is much nicer to take the shortcut through Nick's pension (very close to the villa). You have to walk all the way to the river,, cross the river and then walk back up. You will end up near the football field.

“Villa Ziba” We stayed at this villa for 5 nights,had the best time celebrated my 50th birthday the staff were fantastic,the chef cooked a fabulous dinner,staff decoated for me would recommend this villa to anyone.Allen the owner was great,easy to contact and was quick with his responses. “Oasis in Ubud” We stayed at this beautiful little villa for 5 nights and it was fantastic, it is a private villa that is close to everything. The staff were exceptional and the owner Kath & Wayan were helpful with anything required including sending back a forgotten piece of clothing! I highly recommend anyone looking for a lovely villa that is close to everything, there is no need for a taxi as you can walk to all the key parts of town. Lastly breakfast is great - icing on the cake.
