“Perfect Getaway in the Poconos” We had a lovely time staying in your condo over the Christmas break. It was our first time skiing and snowboarding and we had a lot of fun tumbling down the mountain. It was great to come back to the condo to relax and nurse our aches and pains with a hot chocolate in front the fire. The condo was perfect - it felt like home - very comfortable and beautifully situated on the lake and with views of Big Boulder mountain from the balcony. Joanne was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back in summer! Highly recommended.

“A CONDO TO KEEP COMING BACK TO!” We've rented this condo with friends many times in the past several years, and it's one of our favorites. Steve is very pleasant to deal with, the condo is clean, sleeps many people comfortably, and overlooks the mini terrain park/learning area. We've had grandma come along and she loved to watch the kids ski from the balcony. Also on MLK weekend the balcony was the perfect place to view the fireworks. Would highly recommend this unit!

“Great Experience” Lori and Gary were Great, and very accommodating. The scenery was spectaculur,and the house is beautiful. Food was great and I loved seeing the Hummingbirds at Breakfast. Can't wait to do this again.

“Great location. Wonderful plce for a family gathering.” Our family of 11 stayed through the New Year's holiday. What a wonderful place. There was plenty of room and the house is so big that there were little nooks to get away from the crowd if someone wanted quiet reading time. The location is perfect, just 1/2 block from the Main Street in Lake Placid. We walked down to the bottom of the hill to go on a dogsled ride and cross country ski on the lake. The home is 5 minutes from the Olympic Center and 15 from Whiteface Mountain. There is so much to do in Lake Placid. We ran out of time before running out of things to do. Grocery stores were conveniently located and on one of the frigid evenings we picked up the most wonderful Italian meals from a take out place just down the street. This location had it all!

“Unique and beautiful...heavy on the character...” I'm a frequent visitor of the 'ette. I love the location (right off the main drag) but enjoy its solitude (wooded median...long drive way). Its sort of like a studio apartment in the woods. its close to many of the wineries, The Red Newt and Stone Cat restaurants and a gas/quick mart. When Wine tasting its easy to swing by and change clothes/use the facilities/take a nap (comfy beds) and unload your recent purchases. The owners are friendly and helpful. The grounds are spacious with a nice walking trail. For what you get for the price its really a great secret. So why share a secret? I'm not there long enough or frequent enough to keep it to myself...like a cool song, I shouldn't be singing it alone (especially if you've heard my voice).

“awesome beautiful place” I can't say enough about this. Place, perfect I guess Serene, peaceful,beautiful, quiet. Djuna the owner is Sweet and very efficient and provides every detail. “Relaxing vacation” We vacationed here for the first two weeks of July. Bill and Sandy were fabulous hosts. They were attentive to our needs and generous with their time taking us out in their boat to view the fireworks. The space is decorated tastefully and was clean and welcoming. We spent almost all of our time outdoors enjoying the sun and water. We ate most of our meals outside on the patio. The only thing that could have made it any better would have been to have a screened in area so that we could have stayed out later at night after the mosquitos' came out. We are planning on returning next year.

“Connecting with the land” My girlfriend (Katherine) and I stayed here this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. Mary and Russel are incredibly nice people, and so are their miniature horses and donkeys! The cabin is absolutely beautiful with a fascinating history. I'm pretty sure Katie's life was changed by this weekend, as she now wants to own a farm with donkeys. I've already recommended this place to many of my friends and will continue to do so. Awesome rates for what you get! We are definitely coming back next year, if not in the next few months. I would love to see what its like to stay there with a blanket of snow on the ground. “Great Vacation Home” Just went for two days for the kids mid-winter vacation. The place was lovely. It was very clean and well organized. The beautiful wood and great fireplace created a warm charming atmosphere. Great size bedrooms. Mark was just wonderful to deal with. He was flexible and his instructions for the use of everyting was very clear. We had a large group and found it very comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

“Lake Placid Lifestyle” We've stayed here several times in the past, and have reservations for a week in October. Great location - a 4 block walk (over a hill) to Lake Placid's Main Street for restaurants and shopping. 2 bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, a small balcony, nice Adirondack decor. It makes a wonderful base for exploring the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. It has a gravel driveway and a flight of stairs to get in, so it is not handicap accessible.

“Lovely, romantic getaway” After a hectic month my husband and I were looking for an easy getaway. The Farmhouse was perfect. It was open and airy, and beautifully designed. A really great find among the stuffier B&B; options normally found upstate. We highly recommend it.

“Surrounded by Nature with the comforts of home.” With a peaceful, private lake just a footpath away from this completely updated unit, you can't go wrong! Despite all the modern touches the unit holds, it has such a cozy "cabin" feel to it. It was great having all the amenities for our active boys just a walk away as well as beautiful Lake George so close by! Our family has rented several times and upon each return we notice another convenience or update added to the unit. A perfect day for us includes, eating breakfast on the covered patio, followed by a hiking adventure at the many places nearby,(our kids will squeeze in some tennis or basketball too) then down the path to the lake to catch some sun, some swimming, kayaking or boating then back to the condo for a grilled dinner and campfire! Then off to the comfortable beds for a good nights sleep so we could spend the next day at beautiful Lake George! It's such a treat to enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer and to come back to such a comfortable, cozy, and well loved condo!

“Cabin camp - remote but not too much...” This was perfect for what we were seeking. The cabin is well maintained and is as it was described. The fire ring was a great gathering space and the picnic table was perfect for dinner and breakfast. The interior was nice - definitely a cabin but not too rustic by any means. The access to Moshannon (hiking, canoeing, beach, etc.) was easy and Jackson's Bar & Grill a short drive (Winburne, PA) we had a perfect weekend. Communication with the owner was timely and easy.
