“A perfect home for our family getaway!” Tranquility on Penobscot Bay was truly a wonderful experience for my entire family! Everything we needed was supplied and the house was very spacious and comfy! All of the beds had great mattresses which was so nice. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the big yard surrounding the house and the blueberry bushes right off the side porch was an added plus! Every morning my grandchildren went out and picked their own berries for breakfast! We were in the area to attend a wedding at French's Point which was located just a few miles down the road! It was so convenient to participate in wedding events throughout the week! On our one rainy day there, we made a fire and just relaxed in the spacious living area! Loved having a gas grill out on the large deck that wrapped around the house and we used it almost every night! Rocking chairs on the deck for early morning coffee, too! The ages in our family went from 60's down to 1 year old and everyone had the best time ever! Would return to this special home in a heartbeat!

“This is very clean, well-accomodated, and in a great location!” Our family just returned from a week in this great cabin. We wanted to be very close to acadia National Park, but not in a busy area. The location was perfect for this. The cabin is within walking distance of a small town with great restaurants and stores, and a very short drive (some 5 minutes, some 10 minutes, some 15 minutes) to all the sights of the national park. And when you return to the cabin you experience its quiet and natural setting at its best. It was rejuvenating to be there. The owners have obviously taken a lot of time and effort to make their home user-friendly. It comes equipped with everything you need for cooking and relaxing. Everything is clean and cared for, and the entire cabin has a cozy yet spacious feel to it. Very highly recommended!

“Couldn't ask for more!” This rental cottage was extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners were very hospitable and were available for all our needs including questions concerning the Camden area. The lawn and gardens were well maintained. We spent many evenings sitting in the adirondack chairs on the front lawn and many mornings enjoying our coffee on the back deck. The location was ideal as we could walk into town to shop, sight see and sit by the harbor and watch the boats while enjoying an ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. We were four senior citizens looking for a quiet, comfortable and friendly locale and we found it here. We all said we would definitely return to Camden and stay at this home-away-from-home again.

Modern, totally unique Old Log Cabin in Maine

“The best log cabin you would ever want to stay in.” We adored our stay in this log cabin. It was truly comfortable. Much to our liking, was the living and kitchen area with its high ceilings. (The kitchen was well-equipped with the necessary dishes, pots and pans and a variety of coffee makers.) The loft had both a sleeping and sitting area, which was greatly appreciated by all our visitors as were also the other two bedrooms. The cabin is well-decorated (nautical style and colors), well-lighted and had the necessary gas stove, electric heaters, air-conditioning and ceiling fans for whatever kind of weather was on hand during our stay. We especially liked the screened-in porch where we took our morning coffee and often had dinner out there, too. The cabin was within walking distance of the village with its shops and restaurants. We loved walking down to Barrett Park, which was only 5 minutes away. Lovely view. The service was impeccable. Mrs. Taylor saw to everything and kept in touch regularly to see if all was fine. Even the cleaning lady saw to all our needs. We have rented many cottages in the past, but have never liked one of them as much as we have liked this one, and I would never hesitate to rent it again. Thank you Yuko and Dave Taylor for all your efforts in making our stay so special.

“Outstanding vacation location on Georgetown Island, Maine” For the past three years, we have vacationed at White Rocks Cottage on Georgetown Island, Maine (not far from Bath) and we highly recommend it. Whether you have children or not, there are plenty of activities in the area for everyone (hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, strolling beaches, shopping & eating in or out) or, you can do nothing but relax and watch the world go by in the comfort of this lovely, private, clean and well furnished home on the Maine Coast. “Wonderful” Was very clean,quiet and comfortable,great views of Mooshead,nice Sunsets,deer walking around the house,,great rock fire place, well equipped kitchen, easy access to the lake and beach,and not far from town to enjoy the gift shops,etc, I would definatly re book. “We had a moose in our front yard!!” We had a wonderful stay at Cole Cottage...topped off by coming home to a very large moose in our front yard that trotted in front of our truck...that was absolutely amazing, still talking about that big boy!! The house is very conveniently located, easy driving to different locations, easy access to acadia Park. The staff at acadia Cotage Rentals couldn't have been more friendly or helpful...my husband left a pillow behind that he uses for back pain. I contacted acadia Cottage Rentals and we had the pillow back within 3 days!! house is situated on lovely Frenchman's Bay, with breathtaking sunsets and sunrises...wonderful beach with a sandbar far into the water, amazing rocks to climb and explore. The house is a little dated, needs some updating...I would strongly suggest redesigning the stairs to the basement, they are a little treacherous! Might also consider turning the 2 basement bedrooms into one big bedroom, and elevate the ceilings so they would be more usable. Other than that, we had an amazing time and loved our trip. Would definitely come back.
