“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Quaint Getaway” We were 2 families with 5 kids staying for the weekend. We had plenty of space to spread out, cook & dine together and lots of bedroom options to meet everyone's needs. The house had a lot of antique charm like exposed beams in the living room and paneled walls in the dining room. We were there on a rainy, cold weekend, so did not have an opportunity to enjoy the grounds or porch, but imagine it would be lovely in the warmer weather. Elaine (and her shop) were on the same grounds and she was available for questions about the area. Overall a very relaxing & convenient experience.

“Perfect for a relaxing weekend!” Joe and Pat's cottage is great! The cottage was very clean, well-maintained and well-equipped. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend - in the winter, so I can't comment on the water fun but I'll bet it's great! I can say the fireplace worked just perfectly. Joe and Pat are great to work with and were extremely helpful with information about restaurants and various activities in the Finger Lakes. We certainly hope to be back again - maybe when it's warmer and we can take advantage of the beautiful lakefront area at the cottage. Thanks for sharing your great cottage, Joe and Pat!

“Awesome Columbus Weekend” Myself and 4 friends stayed here for a long Columbus Day weekend. This place is just what we needed. We are all from NYC so the location was extermely convenient for us. The Catskills are just a short drive from the city...well worth the drive. The house was great. Very clean, spaceous, and accommodating. It is located very close to the town of Saugerties and close to Woodstock and Hunter Mtn. The owners are very helpful and generous. I highly recommend this house.
