The house is located in a quiet area away from the city noise and close enough if you want to enjoy the beach, nightlife Makarska or the various restaurants.

Above Makarska, in the hamlet Puharici 1.5 km from the centre of Makarska, in a secluded, quiet, sunny position, 1 km from the sea, 1 km from the beach, in the countryside. Outside terrace, pool, garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: internet access, washing machine. Motor access to the house. Parking at 10 m. Shop 500 m, restaurant 1 km, pebble beach 1 km. Walking paths from the house, cycling path.

3-room house 80 m2 on 3 levels, south facing position: living/dining room with 1 double sofa bed , open fireplace and satellite-TV (flat screen TV), DVD. Open kitchen ( 4 hotplates, oven, dishwasher, freezer, coffee machine, steamer). Upper floor: 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm), bath/shower/WC and TV (flat screen TV), SAT, air-conditioning. Exit to the balcony.
Upper floor: 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 80 cm, length 200 cm) and one single bed ( 80 cm, length 200 cm), shower/WC, TV LCD-SAT and air-conditioning. Exit to the balcony. Balcony 8 m2. Balcony furniture, deck chairs. Lovely view of the sea, whole town and islands. Facilities: safe, iron, hair dryer. Internet (Wireless LAN [WLAN], free). Parking.

“Idyllic villa! Perfect location! Perfect setup! Perfect hosts!”
This villa really is as nice as it looks in the photos. As you will see from my review my perspective comes from having a large family with 3 small children. We have some specific requirements when booking vacations which were all completely fulfilled and exceeded at Villa Makarska. However, my comments would also hold true for travelling with friends. Location: We wanted to find a place that was centrally located on the beautiful Dalmatian coast of Croatia. Makarska was perfect in this regard as it has easy access to beautiful beaches and day trip possibilities to Split, Dubrovnik and Mostar. The villa is on a quiet hillside above Makarska away from the bustle of the town but close enough to be convenient. Having three children this is perfect for putting the children to bed in the evening. Since we came from the US my smallest daughter took time to adjust to the time difference so I had some early morning starts. I really enjoyed putting her on my back in a baby carrier and walking down the hill into town to buy fresh fish directly from the fishing boats and vegetables from the great local market. Facilities: There were several aspects that we really loved about the facilities of this villa. Firstly the layout is fantastic. Split over 3 levels it meant that we could enjoy the evening, beautiful views and sunset without having to tip-toe around the children. Having the outside kitchen is definitely a big bonus. We could sit outside and cook on the grill and prepare food either while the kids swam in the pool or later in the evening. The house was immaculate with all modern fittings. We especially appreciated the fact that it was so well equipped both with appliances and utensils. Appliances included a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine and cooker/oven. One thing that sets this place apart from other holiday rentals is the quality of the appliances and utensils. You can tell that the family did not go for the cheapest options and made sure that the villa is well equipped with everything functional and of a high quality. Fully functioning unlimited wifi throughout the house along with satellite tv in the living room and bedrooms. It was also convenient to have reserved parking available. Owning Family: This was the first time we used tripadvisor to book a holiday rental and was very satisfied with the process. The owner Antonio was very responsive with answers to all my questions about specific details and arranged for a “pack and play” type bed for my infant, as well as confirming setup and fuel supply for the outdoor grill. Since we were driving from Zagreb we weren’t sure on the exact time of arrival. When got to Makarska, Antonio and his wife were there to greet us along with fresh pancakes, fruit and to show us around the villa. They were extremely friendly and helpful, provided contact information and checked-in mid-week to make sure everything was ok with the villa and if we needed anything. Summary: In summary, whether you are a family or a group of friends this villa has everything you could need and in the perfect location to enjoy the Croatian coast.
