SUNNY ELEGANT COUNTRYHOUSE FOR WONDERFUL APULIA EXPERIENCE.
Our proposal is to make your holiday in Puglia warm and comfortable. Imagine a sober, elegant building of the XIX century, situated on the hills of Gargano. Imagine around it olive-groves, the characteristic fragrance, that only this very land can have.
This is VILLA BASSO, for the traveller who appreciates fine taste, a real historical character, and a home away from home.
In 1964 this beautiful old house was the set of the movie "The High Bright Sun" with Dirk Bogarde, with Puglia standing in for the movie's setting of Cyprus.The house has been restored with the care and the passion that only those who really care can provide .
WE HAVE THREE UNITS FOR RENT , for 2 or for 4 people in party.
The apartment" LA TERRAZZA" up to 4, is equipped with every comfort and furnished with taste. It's a spacious and bright kitchen with a big stone fireplace in and a living room with an open mezzanine floor( screened from view but no door separating) that accommodates the bedroom with a double bed. Two comfortable single sofa-beds in the same living room complete the sleepig possibilities ; wide bath with shower and window.
The luxury and wide apartment " ROXANE "" sleeps up to 4 people in party , has handpainted and vaulted ceilings, fine wallpapers on walls ,antique furniture and ancient handmade tiles. All appliances , large bathub , showe , diswashe and washing machine.
The smallest unit in the villa , " PANORAMIC SUITE" is a delicious love nest ! It sleeps only 2 in a large and bright room with very high and vaulted ceiling.The kitchenette is a completely fitted with oven, fridge , tableware, pots and pans. The cosy patio overlooking the see is perfect for al fresco dining under the moonshade. The large bathroom is very confortable and bright.
This house is in an enchanting and peaceful setting in the heart of Gargano National Park, easily reachable from the main road and not so far from other tourist destinations such as Peschici, Amalfi coast, trulli area.
UNITS CAN BE RENTED ALL TOGETHER OR INDIVIDUALLY.
