Southern Italy - Calabria in the resort of Nocera Marina.

Modern fully furnished two bedroom apartment with double sofa bed in lounge on third floor of new apartment block.

Distant sea view from lounge and bedrooms and balcony.

Bedding and towels supplied.

Aiir conditioned.All windows and doors are mosquito screened

Five minutes walk to a very large beach.

Fifteen minutes from Lamezia Terme airport.

There is a football pitch and tennis court adjacent to the complex which can be used.

Large supermarket three minutes walk,and the village has many bakeries coffee shops, vegetable shops,butchers and pharmacies.

A large market is held every Friday. Bike hire can be arranged at a reasonable cost in the village.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds which can be combined to make one large double bed

All bedrooms have plenty of storage space

Getting around

Because it is close to Lamezia airport and close to the autostrada Nocera Marina is a good base for touring. The beach has a number of lidos in June July and August but some storm damage has taken part of the lovely promenade . Most people rent a car but if you choose not to you can get taxis from the main train station at Lamezia. Buses are limited and not regular . Bicycles can be hired in the village . One bus company runs a service from the airport with pick ups from the train station. (timetables can be supplied)

Interaction with guest

I am happy to communicate freely by phone and email once booking is made. I live in Ireland but my keyholder will help guests with their needs. As the apartment is fully equipped it will not be necessary to bring towels or bed linen.All is in good supply

“Wonderful location for small children and one of the friendliest places we have ever visited”

We stayed here for 12 days in July and early August and had a fantastic time. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and is one of the nicest along that stretch of coast (there are a number of other local beaches within a short drive). It was ideal for small children and our girls made lots of friends via the international language of building sandcastles (and learned a few words of Italian along the way). The apartment was air conditioned and had a well equipped kitchen and dining area with a small balcony where we ate our croissants every morning and listened to the birds singing. There is a supermarket, small bakery/gelateria, two playgrounds, spotless swimming pool in an adjacent holiday complex and a number of lovely local restaurants all within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. We also rented the identical sister apartment just across the corridor which allowed extended family to stay at the same time. The people we met here were some of the warmest and friendliest I have ever encountered and it felt very safe for small children. All in all we would highly recommend this as a family holiday destination.
