“Absolutely amazing!” We had a truly relaxing and incredibly enjoyable stay at Strathisla. The room was lovely, the food fantastic, the views phenomenal, and our hosts (Priya and Jaykumar) delightful. We really enjoyed the walk that Jaykumar took us on through the tea plantation. Not only was the scenery magnificent but we also had a great time meeting locals along the way. It was a lovely way to get to see a different but very real side of Sri Lanka. Priya's food was heaven - the only problem was that no other food tasted as good. Many many thanks to our fantastic hosts. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

“Home in the Hills” More than once I have returned to The Kandy House and I am already planning my 4th stay in 2014. Nimal is a welcoming face to meet upon arrival and the view is lovely to come home to. I highly recommend The Kandy House.
