Description

Orchard Cottage is a beautiful self-catering cottage situated in an apricot orchard in the town of McGregor, in the beautiful Breede River Valley of the Western Cape. The cottage can accommodate up to four adult guests and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a open plan living room, and a small kitchen.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has twin single beds. The first bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin, and the second bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin.

The small kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering (includes a microwave, stove, kettle, toaster and full size fridge-freezer). The lounge has a romantic fireplace, a flat screen TV with Netflix and a DVD player. The garden features barbecue facilities for relaxed entertaining and children play area with a swing and sand pit.

The cottage is situated at the edge of town and has beautiful views of the mountains and nature reserve. Secure parking in a cul-de-sac at the end of a private road is offered

Getting around

There are no public transport to the town and you will thus need a car. Most people love walking around in town to the shops and some of the nature walks around town. It is a small town.

Interaction with guest

We will send guest a code for the lock of the post box with the key so that guest can enter the house. There is a automatic gate at the private roads starting point on 7 Voortrekker. The code will be send to you before your arrival. We will communicate with guest via e-mail, sms or Whatsapp . It is your time in McGregor and we see that the cottages is your home for the time that you are in McGregor. There will thus be no contact between guests and staff during your stay.

“Lovely old cottage”

Perfectly and interesting refurbished now including all modern comforts. Hot when it was very hot outside. The double bed was the best so far in South Africa!
