Description
House of Antigoini sits in a quiet village just 4-5 kilometres from Paphos Town and just 8 Kilometres from the Tourist area of Kato Paphos and beaches. Privately set within a walled courtyard, this stone built property has been renovated to a high standard and offers the most traditional Cypriot village holiday that one will find anywhere on the island. The property is ideal for larger families or for two families wishing to holiday together, but who wish to have their own space within the house, as this property benefits from the unique advantage of two houses being together but with their own individual facilities, whilst sharing the beautifully secluded courtyard, sun terrace and pool. Although the houses are joined they can also be rented separately. In this case the second property will remain unoccupied for the time of that booking insuring maximum privacy.
The house is characterised with traditional bamboo and wood beamed ceilings and local marble floors. Modern conveniences include fitted kitchen with appliances, open fireplace, split units in the living area and bedrooms, TV and DVD player, Wi-Fi, kidney shaped private swimming pool, and BBQ.
The first house is on one level, with just one step up into the master bedroom, which has a lovely traditional four poster bed and furniture. Bedrooms two and three are both single, again with traditional furniture. The main bathroom is fitted out to a high standard, with bath and a shower over the bath, there is also a further separate cloakroom with hand basin and toilet. The kitchen is beautifully finished with all the modern conveniences, ie fridge/freezer, microwave oven, integrated oven and hobs, toaster, and kettle. The lounge has a very comfortable feel, with a corner sofa, open fireplace and flat screen TV and DVD Player.
The second house is over two floors. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, the first of which has a four poster bed and dressed in the traditional style. The second is a double but with twin beds, ideal for younger members of the family or even older children or friends happy to share. There is a main bathroom again with bath and shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin. There is also a large sun terrace, which is accessed via the master bedroom, boasting amazing views of the surrounding countryside this sun terrace is ideal for dining out on or just enjoying a glass of wine on those summer evenings. Like the first house, the kitchen and lounge are open plan and with all the modern conveniences you would need but keeping within the traditional style.
There is also a utility room with washing machine, ironing board and iron.

“Niezapomniany odpoczynek”
Dom z cudownym klimatem, przestrzenny oraz stylowo urządzony w każdym detalu. Nasze dzieciaki w wieku od 4- 9 lat najchętniej właśnie na podwórku domu, czy może dokładniej w basenie spędzałyby czas. Cień na podwórku domu można znaleźć o każdej porze dnia, właściciel osobiście dbał, aby basen utrzymany był w czystości. Na powitanie czekała na nas miła niespodzianka, podstawowe produkty żywnościowe, dzięki którym wyprawę do sklepu można było odłożyć na kolejne dni. Dodatkowo gospodarz zostawiał nam przepyszne śliwki za które bardzo dziękujemy:) Do wyposażenia domu brakowało mi jedynie zmywarki, w pozostałym zakresie było wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy. Tuż obok domu jest tawerna ze znakomitym jedzeniem, często również z muzyką na żywo. Do najbliższej piaszczystej plaży można dotrzeć w około 15 minut, ale warto pojechać trochę dalej w poszukiwaniu bardziej dzikich plaż:) Szczerze polecamy wakacje w Antigoni House.

“Historic charm with rustic appeal in a delightful area”
A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a traditional village house without missing any of the amenities. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and provided with a pack of groceries. Antonia and Pambos are attentive hosts and made sure that we settled in without any issues. The courtyard is spacious, outdoor furniture plentiful and the pool a delight. The property is well screened, secure and very suitable for those looking for peace and avoidance of the typical holiday hotel. There are 2 very good eating establishments within 50m so can sample the wine as well as the food without driving. We are very familiar with the areas around Paphos and have tried many rental properties. For us this is the best and we have booked to return in the Autumn of this year.
