This modern, south-facing property, with distant sea views and a large, indoor swimming pool, is located just 2 km from the beach and charming port of Doelan.on a lovely stretch of Brittany’s south coast between Concarneau and Lorient.
Situated in a small hamlet, down quiet country lanes, the villa is built in traditional Breton style and enjoys distant sea views across open countryside.
The large indoor pool benefits from a spacious poolside area, the ideal spot to relax whatever the weather. Sliding doors can be opened in warmer weather giving access onto the sizeable outdoor terrace.
Ty Cedrik has been furnished in contemporary style which, along with its south-facing aspect and open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, gives it a light and airy feel.
There are distant sea views from many rooms including the dining area, kitchen, the double bedrooms upstairs as well as from the terrace.
The surrounding landscape is criss-crossed with quiet country lanes ideal for cycling.
Under 2 km away is the small and charming fishing port of Doelan at the mouth of a wooded creek (setting for the French version of Doc Martin) with a few quayside restaurants, bars and cafes. Close to Doelan is the nearest beach, a small sandy cove, with a choice of larger sandy beaches in the quiet resort of Le Pouldu (8 km).
Just a short stroll away is a convenience store with a difference - an épicerie (small grocer’s shop) that has a delightful mix of the modern as well as a throwback to an earlier time in rural France.
The village of Clohars Carnoet (4 km) has a supermarket, bakery, other shops, bars and banks.
We recommend no more than eight adults in the party as the fifth and sixth bedrooms are more suited to children.
ACCOMMODATION
LIVING AREA
L-shaped open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area with distant sea views opening onto terrace also with sea views. Lounge area with sofas, easy chairs, fireplace, television and DVD. Two steps down from kitchen area to games room with pool table. From games room there is a door (lockable) to swimming pool and exterior (parking).
KITCHEN
Open plan with island breakfast bar, fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. Views over garden and distant sea views. Washing machine and dryer in games room.
BEDROOMS
Ground floor. Bedroom 1: Bedroom with large double bed.
First floor: Bedroom 2: Bedroom with large double bed and sea views. Bedroom 3: Bedroom with large double bed and sea views. Bedroom 4: bedroom with large double bed and sea views. Bedroom 5: Small twin bedroom. Bedroom 6: Three steps down to bedroom with two single sofa beds and sea views.
BATHROOMS
Ground floor bathroom with bath/shower. Separate wc. Ground floor shower room with wc accessed via the pool room. First floor shower room and separate wc. Hair dryers provided.
EXTERIOR
Large flat garden (overlooked from neighbouring property), mainly to grass. Large terrace along full length of property (not overlooked) with sea views, table and chairs, sun loungers, table tennis and gas barbecue. Private parking to rear.
POOL
Large, private indoor heated pool: 28°. Size: 8m x 5m. Depth: 1.5m throughout. Accessed by door (lockable). Sliding doors providing access to outdoor terrace.
INCLUDED IN THE RENT

Bed linen and bath towels provided.
Cleaning: The property and grounds should be left clean and tidy or a charge may apply.
Cot (including linen), high chair, baby bath and stair gate available on request and if available. Please check at the time of booking.
Kitchen towels, table cloth, cleaning kit (dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, sponges, kitchen towel, cleaning products, vacuum cleaner, broom etc provided.
OTHER CHARGES
Security deposit: 400€ (cash) payable on arrival and refunded on departure.
Holiday tax: (taxe de sejour) approximately 1.10€-2.20€ per person per day (16+).
Electricity: average allowance included. If over usage this will be payable locally.
Beach towel hire 5€ per towel

Ceci dit nous sommes désolé que certains aspects de la maison ne vous aient pas satisfait car jusqu'à ce jour nous n'avons eu que des commentaires favorables. Nous avons constaté que certaines portes s'ouvrent d'elles-mêmes quand il y a du courant d'air et que le robinet de la cuisine n'a pas suffisamment de pression (mais celui-là uniquement). Pour les ballons d'eau chaude nous sommes surpris car nous avons eu de nombreux clients (10 à 12) dans le passé et n'avons pas eu de soucis de manque d'eau. Nous nous excusons si cela a été inconvénient durant votre séjour et nous allons toutefois vérifier le système. Nous espérons que dans l'ensemble toute votre famille a passé de belles vacances et espérons vous accueillir à nouveau à l'avenir.
