Description
This is a prime south facing apartment set into the mountains with stunning sea and mountain views in a quiet tranquil setting and yet only 5 minutes from the extensive 5km of sandy beach of Mojacar Playa. The apartment is literally 5/10 minutes from all the local amenities - best beach, supermarket, many bars, best Argentinian, Asian, Spanish restaurants to choose from, bus services etc. Hire car is recommended if you want to fully appreciate the area although not essential.
Very close by are beautiful areas of interest such as Mojácar Pueblo (9km), port town of Garrucha (10km) (Both are accessible by the local bus service), the fishing village of Villaricos (15km). In the other direction the spectacular coast road winds its way through the Cabo de Gata national Park towards Carboneras (21km) .
Everything is within easy reach once you come onto the Playa which is 5-7 minutes walk downhill from the apartment.
If your interested in Golf - There are 4 golf courses ranging from between 2 and 15 minutes drive. Marina de la Torre 5700 metres Par 72. Desert Springs, world famous course, 6,179 metres Par 72. Valle del Este 5751 metres Par 71. Cortijo Grande 5500 metres Par 72. Details and information can be found within the apartment.
There is a Water park in the nearby town of Vera - about 20 minutes drive or you can also take the bus which stops just down from the apartment where it meets the Playa and runs regularly and on time!

This stunning apartment is on an elevated site with stunning sea and mountain views with its villas dotted here and there across the mountain from every window. There is also a 22sq m terrace fully equipped with Dining table/chairs for 6 people and 2 sunbeds with large umbrella if you decide to take to the shade for the hottest part of the day. As the sun beats down on the terrace all day long, this is a great spot to watch the sun rise as the boats go out to sea or watch them come back in with their catch as the sun sets! This apartment has its own designated parking space too! Bicycles can be hired locally if required.

Response from the owner Thanks Bobbie, I appreciate your lovely comments. I know the hill can pose an issue for anyone with walking issues. I do take care to mention that in the description of the apartment. I view it as a 25 metre steep section of hill, however unless you stay directly on the Playa, there will be a hill as Mojacar is all about the mountains being so close to the Playa. I treat it as a bit of exercise as it’s the only real bit I get when I’m there due to the slow, hot holiday pace of life there. And as you can see, it’s the views you want when you get there.. Health & safety issues/community rules dictate no sunbeds allowed at the pool, and we obviously wouldnt want our furniture being taken out of the apartment for use at the pool. So glad you didn't attempt that! Just to clarify, other agencies promote this as a penthouse apartment, as while there is one apartment built above the entire block of apartments, it is only the end of their terrace which extends over our apartment, and I dont think anyone could question the spatial views. I'm happy to see you weren't dissappointed otherwise and delighted you enjoyed your stay.
