Description

Bouyé is situated on the boarders of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne, Aquitaine region of France.

The 600 year old stone barn is set in 1.5 acres of retired farm land. The countryside surrounding Bouyé is interesting, with distant views of Monflanquin. The location offers peace and quiet, and privacy. Explore the countryside and the region or just relax by the pool.

Bouyé is well positioned for many holiday requirements. Within the area here are many chateaux. Wine tasting, explore the countryside, and many Bastide villages, Monflanquin being the nearest, with many restaurants offering local cuisine.

The barn restoration was completed in 2011, retaining its original character of stone walls and oak beams. Our barn is fully furnished, with modern equipment and we offer hospitality and comfort to our guests. Our accommodation offers a very good resting place for families and couples of all ages. .

Our 10m x 5m swimming pool is cleaned and tested every day. The pool is secured by an alarm, which is a statutory French requirement. There are several loungers, parasols and small tables pool-side.

The kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, coffee machine, electric toaster, food blender and microwave. Together with electric oven and four ring gas hob, complete with cooker hood.

Private terrace with gas BBQ and equipment. Table and chairs and sun loungers.

We make ourselves available to welcome guests, and show them around the gite, and pool areas. The gite will have welcome drinks, to enjoy whilst settling in. The refrigerator will have breakfast items, first morning breakfast is catered for by us, with choice of fresh croissants/bread delivered the next morning.
