PLEASE READ: This house is only available for one 2 week period (14 consecutive days) between Memorial Day and Labor Day of 2022. Unfortunately, the rental cannot be longer than 14 days and cannot be broken up into different time periods. If the listing is active, then the house is still available.
This house is truly one of a kind; it is our family gem. It's located on Seaside Avenue, a beautiful, quiet private dirt road in Ditch Plains that dead ends on the cliffs overlooking the beach. The house is a two minute walk to the the beach and the beautiful walking trails on the cliffs that extend through Shadmoor State Park. The house is less than a mile to town by car. There is no better combination of nature, privacy and proximity to town in all of Montauk!
It is an extraordinarily quiet and private residence surrounded on all sides by greenery. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the birds. The large, grass back yard is perfect for relaxing or playing games and directly abuts Shadmoor State Park.
Modern, open upper floor design four steel beams and vaulted wood ceiling with rows of skylights. Two walls of glass doors open onto the 1200 square foot wooden deck with ocean views. Outdoor lounge chairs for sunbathing. Outdoor dining table, chairs and umbrella for summer meals on the deck. The most comfortable oversized couch anchors the center of the room and sit opposite beautiful leather reading chairs.
Amazing restaurant quality kitchen and giant stone sink. Great TV nook with large flatscreen cable TV and DVD player. Delightful upstairs half bathroom with skylights.
Ground floor consists of 4 bedrooms: master with gorgeous en suite marble bathtub & separate shower, sliding doors to deck, flat screen tv with cable and more.
The blue and yellow rooms are each equipped with attractive and comfortable queen sized beds. The guest-room in the back has a unique extra long twin sized sleigh bed along with flatscreen cable tv. The guest bathroom is beautifully tiled and has a full tub and shower.
Many extras: hot tub on upper deck with ocean view; large Weber Gas BBQ; lovely outdoor shower in backyard; use of surfboards and fishing equipment, etc...
No shares or large groups allowed. Small pets negotiable. Families receive strong preference.
