Restored to being two large houses in a terrace. Sea views from front balconies of both houses and from The Buttery's rear sun terrace. Carefully restored and modernised in 2011 by architect-owner. Ideal for large families or groups of families. Perfectly located near shore & moor in the wonderful village of Mortehoe, near fabulous coastal paths, moorland walks, golf, local swimming beaches and Woolacombe surfing. Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Unesco Biosphere reserve, conservation area, surrounded by National Trust farmland.

“Marvellous Mortehoe”

We spent three nights at the houses as a group of 15 extended family. The houses were well equipped with everything we could need. They were spacious with plenty of bathrooms in both houses. The location was great- just a short drive into Woolacombe or Ilfracombe. We ate at the fish and chip shop across the road and also at the ship inn. As a vegetarian both of these had a great menu for me. We thought the food at the shop inn was very good because it was home- made food rather than just reheated. We went on lots of beautiful walks straight from the house and the views were spectacular. The owner was very helpful and always replied to emails. I would highly recommend.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Dominic (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
