Comfortable countryhouse with private pool, in the agricultural area of Muro, at 10 minutes driving from the beach of Can Picafort. It is prepared for up to 6 guests.
A well-kept, spatious, green garden surrounds the private water salt pool, which measures 12x5m (with a depth ranging from 1,2m to 2m). After a refreshing plunge, you can relax in the sunshine, on any of the 6 sunloungers. The two porches offer a paradisaical respite in the shade, to share unforgettable moments with your loved ones, prepare a good barbecue or spend a long evening chatter in the light of the moon. Despite the fact that the owners live on the same premises, you will enjoy complete intimacy.
The 120m2 house is ground-floor only, styled in a homely way, with typical Spanish details and antique furniture. The living- and dining room counts with two comfortable, leather sofas, an elbow chair and a dining table for 6, to enjoy a good movie on satellite TV or a delicious family dinner by the fire in the wood stove. It also counts with air conditioning. On one side, you will find the independent, fully-equipped kitchen, with an electric oven, vitro hob, dishwasher and all further utensils you might need to do some good cooking. In the kitchen,you will also find a washing machine and there is an iron with ironing board available. There is a bathroom with a bath tub, for common use. There is a bathroom with a shower in the principal bedroom, which counts with a double bed. The other two bedrooms have two individual beds each. All bedrooms count with a wardrobe. On request, we can prepare a baby bed and a high chair, without any extra cost. The house is equipped with central heating, which makes it an ideal accommodation also for the colder season.
Strategically situated in a relatively quiet area, but close to the village of Muro, as well as the fine sandy beaches of Can Picafort and Playa de Muro, this house offers marvellous clear views on the rolling agricultural landscape. In the nearby village of Muro, you can find, for example, fresh local products, a bakery, or enjoy watching the typical daily Majorcan life over a coffee at the plaza. The touristic area of Can Picafort offers a well-visited beach, as well as a long boulevard with shops and restaurants and some big supermarkets. If you are looking for quieter beaches to relax, you wil find them at any side of Can Picafort: the beaches of Cas Capellans or Albufera and the beach of Son Real, which reaches all the way to Son Serra de Marina. You will surely enjoy visiting the 7th century BC necropolis, situated on the untouched shores of Son Real, and the remains of the pre-Talayotic settlement, next to the museum and interpretation centre. In between, there are several routes to enjoy an easy family hike or bike.
