Description
Newly renovated apartment in spacious green garden and 2 min walk to the clean sea. Combine the beach with comfortable hops to Athens city center. The bus to to the historical center of Athens stops in front of the main entrance and brings you there in 45 min. Fully equipped kitchenette, relaxing decoration, peaceful and ideal location. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, mini markets, shops, playgrounds and many other activities. 25 min drive to the airport, 10 min drive to Rafina port!
The Apartment
The Boutique apartment Helios is fully renovated. It has one bedroom with double king-size bed, one bathroom and a living room with fully equipped kitchenette. Upon request, the living room can be converted to a bedroom with 1 queen-size bed or 1 queen-size and 1 single bed (depending on the guests number). All mattresses, linen and electric appliances are brand new. The garden will offer you relaxing moments. All spaces have air-condition with ionizer and high speed Wi Fi.
Our guests have exclusive use of the apartment Helios with their own entrance, green garden and access to the laundry room.
Guest interaction
Upon arrival, our guests will be warmly welcomed and will be provided with a full guide with information about the area, activities and other facilities. There are numerous activities that you can experience, such as scuba- diving, horse- riding, wind- surfing, sailing, canoeing, cycling, folklore and latin dance courses, yoga and pilates. There are sights of significant religious and historical interest. We can help our guests to plan the activities they love.

The apartment Helios is located in the historic province of Marathon, where the battle of Marathon took place in 490 BC. It is situated on the east coastline of Athens, just 2 min walk to the beach and 45 min drive to Athens city center. The area is preferred by most Athenians for their summer vacations as well as weekend excursions, due to its natural beauty combining mountains close to the sea. The sandy beach is ideal for families and people wishing to relax over a refreshing drink. Places to visit -There are plenty choices to eat, drink, go shopping, clubbing or even watch a movie in an open-air cinema. - There is a 15 klm pedestrian path by the sea to go jogging or trekking. - You can run the traditional marathon road - Significant historical sights (the Tomb of the Marathon Warriors and Museum- 10 min drive) - Significant religious sights (the Monastery of Saint Efrem, the Miraculous- 10 min drive) - The Marathon Dam (15 min drive) - The summer music and theater festival hosting exceptional Greek artists, wonderful concerts and ancient dramas. - Ideal for Families and Kinds: Playground and sandy beaches in 2 min walk, Farms with Animals, the Attika Zoo in 10 min drive. - The largest open-air shopping mall in Athens in 10 min drive.
Getting around
Most of the activities you might need to undertake are located in walking distance from the apartment (beach, shops, restaurants, taverns, cafes, playgrounds, mini markets, bakeries). For further distances, you can pick a bus (bus stop in front of the main entrance of the apartment), or rent a car or a bicycle. We can rent our guests bicycles upon request.
