Description

The Tack Rooms is a converted, one bedroom self catering holiday home situated on the edge of the New Forest.

The Tack Rooms includes an on suite bathroom, double bedroom, living room-kitchen area with an bed settee, providing flexible accommodation for couples, friends and family, such as single parent and child visitors.

Outside The Tack Rooms is a covered area with patio furniture overlooking the lawned garden, which is available all year round.

We accept visitors with dogs, by providing easy clean flooring in the living area.

Located on the edge of the New Forest National Park, providing opportunities for relaxing days in the beautiful Forest, and cosy evenings in one of the three traditional Forest pubs that are within walking distance of The Tack Rooms.

Fordingbridge and Ringwood, both less than 5 miles away, have a host of charming pubs and restaurants with great atmosphere and good food. For a more up-beat evening, the vibrant night-life of Southampton and Bournemouth is only a short drive away, as are the sandy beaches of Bournemouth and Poole for days by the sea.

“Very impressed”

Julie and Simon were excellent hosts. Very helpful with recommending the lovely local Farm Shop. The Tack room had lots of space. It was very clean with a fully appointed kitchen. A lovely restful garden to relax in. Brilliant for a quiet and peaceful break. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

“Pet friendly clean and comfy”

We could get to walks in the forest quickly and easily. Could not find fault with cleanliness or comfort. Even the dog enjoyed it not sure the chickens would say the same. Directions to find property good. Would book again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Julie (the owner) a message.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
