This luxuriously appointed (non-smoking) ground floor apartment, with fully-equipped kitchen, luxury walk-in shower and private parking, has a spectacular sea view while being within walking distance of all local amenities and Royal County Down Golf Club (Irish Open). The beach and promenade are only 2 minutes' walk away and Castlewellan and Tollymore (for Game of Thrones tours) Forest Parks are only 10 minutes' drive. Secure 3 bike/golf club store, barbecue, balcony and patio available. Ideally situated for walking in the Mournes, scenic drives (Spelga Dam, Silent Valley, Tyrella Beach, Exploris, National Trust sites), golfing, horse-riding and mountain bike trails (Donard Forest, Rostrevor, Castle Ward, etc).

“Beautiful apartment, lovely host and great location.”

Apartment was beautiful with lovely host who greeted us with cakes / Prosecco and other useful items to get our weekend off to a perfect start. Location couldn't be better - a stone's throw from the town and beech with superb restaurant literally 20 yards from the door. Newcastle is a great town with usual seaside amenities but also has a fab mountain to climb all within easy walking distance

Fantastic apartment in great location I recently spent the weekend there with my grandson spotlessly clean and very comfortable apartment was very well equipped there was even a welcome basket of goodies and sweets for my grandson best apartment I've ever stayed in and I will definitely be back Anne and Phil were wonderful hosts made us feel very welcome thank you both

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Anne and Phil (the owner) a message.

If Anne and Phil (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
