Description

Armitage House is on the seafront and was probably built around 1830 at the same time as the nearby harbour was being developed.

The house is comfortable and well proportioned. It was completely renovated in 2014 and has 2 large double rooms, 3 twin rooms, a bathroom, 2 shower rooms and a downstairs cloakroom.

The large kitchen-dining room has an Aga while the sitting room has a wood burning stove. There is a separate utility room.

All the main rooms have sea views and there is character throughout the house - particularly the upper landing and the eaves rooms with their cozy low sloped ceilings. There is also a private walled garden at the rear.

There is unrestricted on street parking.

“Halloween break”

We had an excellent two night stay with extended family. Great house for a couple of families and children. Plenty of space, enclosed rear garden, fabulous views and cosy Aga and fire. The kitchen is superbly equipped and everything in great condition. Would highly recommend this house and it's wonderful location.
