Description

Quaint 120 year old fishing cottage on the bank of the river Strule down a quiet lane in the village of Newtownstewart with a panorama view of the Sperrin Mountains. It retains the original layout and features whilst being updated to modern day standards which includes oil heating and a wood buring stove. Full working kitchen and large bathroom with bath and powershower. Open plan living room and dining room. Two upstairs bedrooms. The larger room contains double bed and single bed and the other bedroom contains two single beds. Both rooms are old time attic rooms with sloping ceilings. Additional fold away bed available if required. Cottage in a tranquil setting with back views overlooking the river with steps leading down to salmon pool. Fishing not suitable for children as it is a rocky steep bank. Horse riding stables in Omagh. Day tickets available on local club waters for adults and children. Private parking to side of cottage. Netfix availabe with guest own sign in details . Two minutes walk to village leading onto a lovely riverside walk. . Close to local hotel & restaurants and ideally situated for exploring the Sperrins

Cottage is cosy and has everything you need. Good base to explore Sperrins from. Local town great and special mention to the Abercorn bar for a warm wlcome for myself and my dogs.

How do damage deposits work?

If Ronnie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
