Description

Sozinhos surf lodge and Bungalows sits on the northern tip of Asu Island in Northern Sumatra. Exposed and open to swell we get perfect 200 meter+ barreling waves breaking on our doorstep. The lodge is tucked away in the palm-fringed jungle right in front of the breaking waves. There is a variety of other great waves in the Hinakos that we access on favorable conditions.

We have 2 rooms, both upstairs with breathtaking sea views, both with private balconies and on suite toilets and showers. PLUS - fishing, diving, SUP, yoga, chilling. Our fishing, snorkeling and SUP equipment are available to use.

10-day trip $1115 - includes airport taxi transfers, accommodation, guided surf/boat trips, 3 meals per day, snacks, tea, coffee, and juice.

Our 2 new, upmarket bungalows that have aircon and hot water have great privacy and awesome sea views. From $150 per person per day sharing.

Getting around

Most of Asu has'nt changed for many years and has narrow jungle paths for us to travel on. You can explore further by walking around the island in 3 hours. Surf-guided boat trips are done on favourable swell and wind conditions to other waves in the area. For boat trips to the other surf breaks or for fishing/diving trips we ask the guests to cover the fuel costs.

Interaction with guest

Our freindly staff are on site and are there to make your trip a good one. Meals are prepared by Dessi, our chef, with at least 1 barbeque done per day. The rooms are kept clean and linen washed regularly. Our surf guide is available to take guests on surf trips to the other great waves in the Hinako islands.

How do damage deposits work?
