POOL UPDATE
January 19, 2021
The community pool at Shipwatch was closed during the first part of the 2020 summer season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It did finally open near the end of the summer of 2020.
As of the date of this notice, for 2021 we do not have any final word on the pool opening as of yet. The pool is controlled by the Homeowners Association and they follow the NC Governors guidelines and instructions. With mass vaccinations now being underway for COVID-19, we would anticipate an improvement in minimizing the infection rates by the summer season, which would seem to allow the Governor to make a favorable decision for opening as he did in 2020. We just cannot be 100% sure at this time.
We will keep you posted on this matter as information comes in.
This lovely unit has just gone through a renovation for the 2019 rental season. It is decorated with light and bright modern colors with matching accessories. New interior photos have just been posted.
This is a very well-appointed 3 bedroom and 3 bath, direct oceanfront point unit located on the third floor of the Shipwatch Villas complex. No stairs, all convenient ramps from parking to building, to pool and to beach, plus elevator to condo. From the large private balcony, you will experience outstanding views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. Access to the balcony is obtained from the two oceanfront bedrooms as well as the living room. There is plenty of seating in the living room to accommodate the entire family while enjoying a movie on the large flat screen Smart TV and DVD player.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed for basic meal preparations as well as all required major and small appliances. The major appliances are all black stainless and include a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven and built-in microwave. The small countertop appliances include a coffee pot, toaster and blender.
In the dining area you will find ample seating to accommodate 10 with 8 at the dining table and 2 at the kitchen bar area. The kitchen has been modified to allow more room and floor space and capped with all new granite countertops.
The master suite is equipped with a queen bed, Smart TV, ceiling fan and has outstanding ocean views with direct access out to the oceanfront balcony. It has its own private bath (completely remodeled) with a large glass enclosed walk-in shower and a double vanity sink complete with granite counter top.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, TV, ceiling fan, private bath with tub and shower combination and access out to the oceanfront balcony.
Bedroom three has a pyramid bunk (1 full & 1 twin) and a standard bunk (2 twins), Smart TV and DVD player, and a full bath with tub & shower combination just outside the bedroom in the hallway. The bedding set up in this three bedroom unit allows it to sleep 9 guests very comfortably.
Just down the hallway from the third bedroom you will find a laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer.
The large oceanfront balcony is equipped with plenty of comfortable seating for the family. Here you can enjoy watching the Porpoises as they troll down the shoreline in search of their early morning meal. It’s also a great spot for enjoying that early morning cup of coffee or for having a great meal outdoors with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop.
With lots to do at Shipwatch Villas why not come to experience a fun filled beach vacation. This unit offers many great amenities, including parking, outdoor grilling area, elevator, washer and dryer, TV’s and DVD, WiFi, large walk-in glass shower, covered oceanfront balcony, a large oceanfront pool and easy direct access across the sand dune and right down to the white sandy beach.
PLEASE NOTE: There are only two parking passes available for each unit. Please make your travel plans accordingly.

Wake up in the morning and immediately see the ocean. You can actually hear it too! Beautifully decorated condo, plenty of room for family of 6. Can't wait to go back next year.....
