Description

This is a house built between 1830 and 1870 by the first farmers who came to the Karoo.The house is built of stone,even the roof,because there were no other building material,for the Karoo is a very dry region in South Africa.

Everyone enjoys the little history of the Karoo and wonder what it was like to live here when they look up in the stone corbelled roof above.

Incredible stars at night make it a unique experience wich you will not see at many other places,because it is situated on a farm away from other lights and polution.
