Description

Lovely village house, imaginatively restored, in Noyers-sur-Serein, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
The house is light and spacious with generous sized rooms and a luxurious bathroom. There is an annexe off the salon that, if necessary, makes a perfect second bedroom with a sofabed. Outside is a small and completely private garden with patio furniture that looks out on to a peaceful scene of trees, fields and across a beautiful garden.
The medieval village itself is famously picturesque and has a variety of shops and restaurants and an interesting museum. It is close to Chablis and the vineyards of Auxerre. There are many interesting villages, towns and chateaux in the region and there are some great walks and lots of quiet lanes for cycling

Response from the owner I am sorry that your expectations were not met during your stay. It took many years to transform the building into what I (and many others) consider a lovely space, nicely furnished: I have received lots of positive reviews from people who have loved the atmosphere and the way it is decorated. I do realise that wifi would be a significant plus and hope soon to be in a position to install it. It is hard for me to understand your problem with drinking your good wine as there are wine glasses (as well as tumblers) at the house. I am glad that the peace and the view gave you some pleasure!
