The soothing sounds of a cascading waterfall and the sweet fragrance of tropical flowers greet guests as they cross over a meandering stream to get to the Kai Kala Villa. Lush plantings and a koi-filled pond create a tranquil backdrop to this stunning, two-story haven. Luxuriously appointed throughout, many of the villa's architectural features and furnishings are hand-crafted using local wood and materials. Three of the four bedrooms are located upstairs. The spacious ground level features ample dining and living areas, including a formal dining room, a handsome bar area, and a slate-tiled verandah that wraps around the pool. The low-chlorine, saltwater pool is artfully adorned with blue mosaic tiles, and also features a jetted hot tub. Ceiling fans whir gently, blending the sounds of surf and the warm trade winds. The home's amenities include an entrainment center with a large, flat-screen cable TV and DVD, and Wi-Fi throughout.

Upstairs Bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed and a private patio overlooking the pool and the sea. The plush bathroom features a Kohler whirlpool tub enclosed with wooden louvers and glass on three sides. His and her closets, stone basins with double mirrors, a separately enclosed toilet add to the sense of complete luxury. A large, pebble-tiled shower with glass walls opens onto the patio. The shower features a rain shower head, and a hand-held shower head with three massaging jets. Lush tropical plantings provide an exotic and fragrant natural component.

Bedroom 2 has a king-sized bed overlooking the gardens, pool and sea. The large, private bathroom has a tub and shower.

Bedroom 3 has two queen-sized beds and features a small private patio and windows that overlook the pool, sea and garden. The bathroom features a stone basin and countertop a with tub and shower.

Downstairs bedroom

Bedroom 4 opens from both the living room and onto the veranda through French doors. It has king-sized bed and sitting area. Windows overlook both the pool, the gardens, and out to sea. The bathroom, which is not en-suite, has a stone countertop and basin with a large, tiled shower with seat.

Sea View Cottage

The three-bedroom Sea View Cottage is steps up from the main house. A wooden deck, which overlooks the Caribbean, offers an outdoor dining area for al fresco feasts, and a jetted hot tub to spend tranquil and deeply relaxing moments in. The comfortable living and dining area seats six and has a ceiling fan, a large, flat-screen TV with cable and a telephone. A uniquely lit ceiling lights your way to the two smaller bedrooms, which are original to the property.

Bedroom #1 – The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and French doors that open onto the wooden deck, overlooking the hot tub. The large master bathroom has a tub and a shower with a window looking out to sea.

Bedroom #2 – has a double bed and a lovely, cushioned bay window overlooking the sea and gardens. The en-suite bathroom has a tiled shower and tub.

Bedroom #3 – has a double bed with views of the garden. The en-suite bathroom has a mosaic tiled shower and tub.

Bamboo Cottage

Set in lush bamboo gardens, the two-bedroom Bamboo Cottage lives up to its name. The pebble-tiled entryway leads into the comfortable living/dining room, which is decorated with bamboo furniture in a spacious seating area with ceiling fans, a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV and large windows, offering a panoramic view of the gardens. There is also a small indoor dining area.

The two bedrooms at Bamboo Cottage are air-conditioned with ceiling fans, telephones, a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV in bedroom 1, and 22-inch in bedroom two, luxurious bathrooms and digital safes.

Bedroom 1 – has a king-sized, four-poster bamboo bed with expansive views overlooking the gardens. The en-suite bathroom has a tub and shower and windows that have look out to the green gardens.

Bedroom 2 – has twin bamboo beds and high windows looking over an enclosed garden with cut-stone walls. The bathroom has a tub and shower also with garden views.

Hideaway Cottage

The luxurious and romantic Hideaway Cottage sits perched on the hillside overlooking the sea and just steps down from Kai Kala Villa.

The living room has a comfortable sofa with two plantation chairs. French doors lead onto a private, split-level wooden deck directly looking out to sea. The very private deck has a hot tub with jets. Comfortable outdoor furniture complete the picture.

The kitchen has a mini-fridge and a small table for two for indoor dining.

Bedroom Configuration:

The bedroom at Hideaway Cottage has air conditioned with ceiling fans, telephones, 22 inch flat screen cable TV, luxurious bathrooms and digital safes.

Bedroom #1 - The lovely private master bedroom has a king bed with views to the sea. French doors open onto the split-level wooden deck. A pebble-tiled indoor bathroom has a bathtub and shower with plugs for an electric shaver or hairdryer. A door from the bathroom opens into a grilled, cut-stone, outdoor shower.
