“A Place in the Woods to Dream and Live Your Dream” My mouth dropped when I stepped into artYcottage and was surrounded by so much beauty, creativity and originality. It was endless. Everywhere I looked there were remarkable details that were executed with perfection. Rich colors and varied textures everywhere. Everything handmade from the quilts to the furniture to the faucets and tiling and even the soap! One day it was 80 degrees and I enjoyed reading on a chaise on the deck. Then the very next day it was snowing and I was lucky to be there to enjoy the beauty of nature's softness covering the branches of trees. I stayed in that day by the fire my wonderful host, Tom, built. Tom and his stunning and bubbly wife, Margaret, made me feel at home with their warmth and sensitivity. From now on I will definitely be staying here on my twice yearly trips to ashland!

“Gorgeous views, Family friendly, Pet friendly beach house” This was a wonderful place to spend the Christmas holiday at with extended family. Our tweens really enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Watching the tides come in and out and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets was lovely.

“Great, friendly and comfortable stay” Staying at this location was very welcoming and lovely. The location was very central in the city and close to many points of interest. It was easy to access and comfortable to stay in. The house is in great shape and was able to accommodate myself and my friends. I would definitely recommend this host and their home if you are looking for a comfortable night's stay.

“Well appointed house in nice development” We recently stayed here for a corporate team-building event (fishing trip). The kitchen is large and well appointed. The place is nicely decorated and clean. Would highly recommend for reunions or events like ours. We lacked nothing.

“The VIEW is everything!” From the moment my husband and I walked into the cottage, we were thrilled and in awe of the ocean view. We spent a lot of time exploring the area but always returned back to the cottage loving that view. We walked the short distance to the beach every evening and enjoyed looking for rocks and shells and driftwood. I believe the cottage was built in 1939 so there are aspects of it that show it's age but the main living area is lovely with super comfortable chairs and couch. Kay (and Randy) are very easy to work and readily available for questions/problems - although we didn't have any. I would return in a heartbeat! ❤️

“Cozy cottage! Great location in the heart of Bend!” Excelent location in Dowtown Bend! Walk to everything or bring your bike, kayak or skis! All ementities in cottage were first class with comfy bed and clean linens and towels! Owners are friendly and attentive but respect your privacy! Great patio and garden with BBQ for entertaining your guest. We will be back to the 2nd Street Cottage!!
