“Total Recharge”
This was our second visit to Puglia stying in a Trulli. The Trullo Annunziata comes with the added bonus of AC and plenty of internal space, anyone staying in one of these will have seen they come in all sizes, some very compact. Annunziata is spacious with 4 large sections; kitchen, living, bedroom and bathroom. All are very well equipped and a nice couple of welcome items from Ed and Gemma to get your stay off to a great start. The bathroom has a washing machine which makes keeping laundry sorted and for those coming in the future, your packing can be lightened for sure. Plenty of towels for both the room and separate towels for the beach or pool. The outside of the Trullo is spacious and private with a raised veranda area above the pool, all looking over the adjoining fields and olive groves. You can walk through the garden and pick up the figs (if in season of course). Outside there is a seating area for meals with BBQ provided if needed and loungers around the pool, all very comfortable. The pool is a good size to relax and cool off on those hot summer days. The location is pretty much equidistant between Ceglie and Ostuni, so a choice of nights out and plenty of restaurants within 15minute drive. We stayed in for the most part as part of a well needed recharge and found we were left alone to soak up the summer sun. If your staying for a second week you'll receive a linen change. Ed and Gemma have there own produce so try out some of the wine or Lemoncelo. Once again thank you for a fabulous holiday, complementi!
