If you are on vacation and want a more cozy and private accommodation, for you and your family or a group of friends, our home is the perfect place for you! Here you can enjoy your holidays with sun, sea, surf and nature all year round. Welcome!
The house is equipped with all the essential things for the basic needs and is tastefully decorated. It has nice and clean rooms with sturdy beds and comfortable mattresses that provides a perfect night rest for a comfortable stay. It is a private two floor house that consists in a ground floor with a living room including a TV+Stereo+internet access (WIFI), a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and storage room with washing machine (portable BBQ also available). A first floor with a second bathroom and two rooms, one with a double bed and the other also with a double bed or two single beds and with the possibility of having a third single bed, ideal for 2 up to 5 persons..
Within walking distance from the house you can find cafes, a take-away restaurant and a grocery shop. The main beach Praia da Areia Branca as well has many cafes, restaurants, shopping facilities and a vivid nightlife, all this in less than a 5 min drive, 10 min by bike and a 25 min walk. And it's only a 15 min drive to the best surf spots in Europe!

“Value for money. Highly recommended”
First of all a few words about the owner; just because I think the first impression of a rental's owner is important. The owner, Steve, is very friendly, soft spoken and hospitable. He'll make you feel right at home. The house itself is in a fork in the road. You'll hardly notice any traffic. The town is sleepy and quiet. It's a 5 minutes drive from Lourinhã, for all your food shopping needs. 15 minutes drive from Peniche and 60 minutes drive from Lisbon (head for the Alameda subway station, you'll find a place to park your car and explore the city by subway). Inside the house you'll find everything you'll need. A well equipped kitchen. And if you like cooking and find it's important; cooking is on gas. Furthermore, 2 nice bedrooms with good beds; we slept like a baby :-) 2 bathrooms and well worth mentioning; unlike a lot of rentals in southern Europe, this house is equipped with a good geyser and has good water pressure. Definitely not the 'stand in a trickling shower and run out before the water turns freezing in 3 minutes' experience. "So, there's no reason not to go for this rental", you might ask. Well, there may be one. Though the Portuguese are the friendliest people you'll meet, they're not the tallest. There's some kind of frieze above the stove (as you can see in one of the kitchen photos). I am taller than the average Portuegese and thus repeatedly bumped my head on said frieze while cooking. Strong language was uttered... repeatedly. Joking aside, I highly recommend this rental. To chill and do nothing at all or to use it as your home base for exploring.
