Unspoiled, Remote Wilderness Fishing Lodge On The Cedar River Watershed: Travel to Cedar Lake for your next Canada fishing trip vacation. Cedar lake offers 6600 acres of protected waters and access to non portage lakes totalling 15,000 acres of waters defined as the Cedar River Watershed. Cedar Lake offers six game fish species due to the abundance of structure and natural food sources supplied by the watershed. Cedar Lake is an exceptional Walleye fishery, Smallmouth bass fishery, Northern Pike fishery and a class 'A' Muskie fishery where one has a good chance of catching Muskie over 50 inches. Nearby portage lakes offer lake trout fishing.
The waters are naturally protected as Cedar Lake is 19 miles long with a width generally 1/4 to 1/2 miles and occasionally up to one mile wide making it safe for boating. Our fishery is supplied by many small streams providing our unique eco system with never ending food source for larvae, minnows, bugs, invertebrates, bait fish and other creatures in the food chain that feed our game fish. We practice and encourage catch and release fishing and proper fish handling to protect our natural resource for generations to come. Learn more about our spectacular fishery.
Facilities: Our Canada fishing lodge cabins (log and frame construction), overlooking Cedar Lake, are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean to insure comfort on your next fishing trip. Words cannot express the qualities of our fishing lodge and fishery so please view our photo galleries that tell the memorable fishing stories of the fishing trips of our past guests.

I caught a 48" musky within the first hour that we were there.Al herd me from across the bay, on the island.
I also had my 11 year old daughter along and she loved it so much.We can't wait to go back next year. Walleye fishing is great and so is the perch and smallmouth bass.
Al and his wife and his staff will do everything they can to make your trip the best ever. The cabins are very nice with toilet and showers. The boats are very comfortable to fish out of.
The Resort was very easy to find.
I have ben to several other resorts before but after finding Cedar Lake Lodge we will be going back again and again.
Make your own memories with your kids, family and or freinds.Stay at Cedar Lake Lodge. You won't regret it!!

Have been fishing Cedar Lake for 20+ years now and haven't found a reason to go anywhere else. Al and Kim have created a wonderful camp for all ages and are tremendous hosts that keep me coming back year after year.

this June will be my 26th trip to Cedar Lake Lodge..Al and Kim Rempel are the 3rd set of owners Ive dealt with..by far they are the best..they are very proactive as to customer needs..there have been so many improvements to the camp since theyve taken over that sometimes its hard to believe its the same camp I started coming to in the early 80's
The cabins are comfortable with all the anemities you might need..the boats and motors and any other equipment you might use are always in great working order..and the fishing..it can be anywhere from good to spectacular..we have never had problems getting our limits of walleyes for shore lunch and to bring home..if you fish muskies, there is no better lake the size of Cedar in NW Ontario...the guys who fish for them always boat 50+ muskies on the trip...if by chance you decide to do the modified american Plan, Kim will knock your socks off with a fantastic home cooked meal like mom used to make..
