Description
Villa Katerina is a luxury 3 bed villa with a large private pool, located in the picturesque village of Peyia. It is in a quiet location at the top of a cul de sac backing on to a field of carob trees. Perfectly situated for exploring Cyprus.
Villa Katerina has 3 spacious bedrooms all with air conditioning (small extra charge) and ceiling fans. Upstairs is a double bedroom opening onto a large balcony with sunbeds and parasol overlooking the pool and a twin room overlooking the carob field. There is also a bathroom with shower/ bath.
Downstairs is another spacious kingsize bedroom with its own bathroom giving greater privacy for couples sharing or anybody less abled. The living area is open plan with a large lounge/ dining area overlooking the pool and ample sun terracing. There are 3 suede sofas, dining table for 6, TV with Internet channels including the main English TV along with films etc & a selection of DVDs, Music system and a selection of books. Free WiFi.
The kitchen is very well equipped. A range of units with granite work surfaces, oven, hob, large fridge/ freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & board, water cooler and everything you need to cook if you wish.
Outside is the star attraction, a larger than average deep pool. 10x5m. Roman steps into the shallow end and a ladder at the deep end. There is ample sun terracing with sunbeds & parasol along with a large pergola for shade during the midday sun. There is also an undercover patio area in which is a patio table and chairs seating 6 people. Perfect for alfresco dining. There is a BBQ at the rear of the villa.
We are perfectly situated to explore much of the surrounding area.
The famous Coral Bay resort is 2km away and the town of Paphos is just a 15 minutes drive as is Kato Paphos with its harbour and famous mosaics.
The traditional Cypriot village of Peyia with its tavernas, supermarkets, bakery, delicatessen, fruit market and butchers are within walking distance.
Coral Bay has some of the best blue flag beaches in Cyprus where you can swim in the safe shallow clear water. Here you will also find numerous restaurants and bars.
Just along the coast is the unspoilt Akamas nature reserve with miles of deserted beaches where turtles come to lay their eggs. We recommend a 4x4 to visit the Akamas.
There are many small beaches along the coast towards the Akamas where you can snorkel in the clear blue water or walk along the rugged coastline taking in the spectacular views, eat at some of the famous restaurants including the Last Casle ( Viklaris) or Oniros by the sea overlooking the ship wreck.
We are also ideally situated to visit the Troodos mountains with beautiful monasteries, Tombs of the Kings, Polis, Lastsi and Aphrodites Birthplace.
Take a boat out to the Blue Lagoon for a memorable day out.
We can arrange car hire from a local company at very competitive rates along with taxi transfers to get your holiday off to a relaxing start.
