Description

Pinakates is one out of three listed traditional villages in Pelion area. It is where we chose to build our dream house. We renovated a stone house of early 1900s using traditional materials and technics . This wonderful house is located near the main road that connects Volos to Milies. It is surrounded from walnut trees, chestnut trees, apple trees and cherry trees from which we produce homemade marmalade every May and June.

The house of 160 sq.m. consists of two floors. In the ground floor you will enjoy our warm sitting room with a fireplace and a bathroom with its shower. Connected with a stone arch is our spacious fully equipped kitchen with a very convenient sofa offering relaxation after a walk.

The first floor is where the main bedroom is sited as well as a small sitting room and an en-suite bathroom and a balcony.

Next to the main house is the guest house offering a short of privacy to the hosted. A double bed with its small sitting area and a spacious en-suite bathroom gives you the ability to make a stay for friends very convenient and a little isolated.

In front of the house a wonderful yard of more than 150 sq.m. offers you enough space to enjoy a lunch or dinner under the walnut trees while you have open view to the mountains and sea while feeling the breeze coming from the mountain..

Next to the kitchen is the sheltered BBQ area where 8 persons could comfortably dine. It is fully equipped with both gas and coil grill in order to satisfy all tastes of grilling!!!

House rules

Dogs and pets in general are welcome and allowed but they can be accomodated only in the warehouse which is just next door to the kitchen and it is a regular room. You cannot have them in the main house.
Smoking is allowd only in the BBQ area.
