Description
Traditional stone built house situated in the village of Plonevez du Faou in the heart of Finistere.
House consists of living room with English Free-Sat TV, DVD player, CD player, electric fire. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker and microwave. Downstairs there is bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with double bed and other with single and bunk beds as well as toilet facilities.
The basement has been converted into living accommodation including its own TV, (Free-Sat also available) CD player, sofa bed, toilet and shower facilities. There is also has log burning fire as well as central heating. Large garden at rear of property offering off road parking area.
The house is situated a 5 minute walk from the centre of the village that offers all local amenities including boulangeries, chemist, banks, florist, hairdresser, butcher and small grocers. There is also restaurant and small local bars as well as local vet and post office if required.
The village has local football stadium where local teams compete during the season - spectators welcome (small charge).
The property is situated within 10 km of pretty market town of Chateauneuf du Faou with River Aulne running through centre. There are several restaurants and bars available as well as large supermarkets and shops. Chateauneuf du Faou also offers boat hire (in summer), fishing facilities (long and short licences can be purchased locally),camp site and indoor public swimming pool.
There are several beaches available within one hour drive including 4 km long beach at Pentrez, ideal for children of all ages offering free parking along roadside just next to beach. Area also offers lots pretty coastal or inland walks suitable for all abilities.
Travel cot and bed guard available for younger visitors.
