Description
Our home is in the middle of the beautiful and peaceful Breton countryside with lots of amenities close by. On site we have an outdoor heated, 10 m x 5 m, swimming pool, a games barn with table tennis table, bebe foot table, a pool table, an air hockey table and plenty of toys for our younger visitors. There is also a pottery, art and craft studio where everyone is welcome to join in and make some unique gifts to take home.
Locally we have lovely beaches, walks, fishing lakes, bicycle and walking trails. Our nearest villages of Plouguenast and Ploeuc sur Lie each have a supermarket, bars, church and bank just 6 kms away.
On the ground floor of Laurel Cottage is a dining area, comfortable sitting area with satellite television, DVD player, sofas and a wood burning fire and a fully equiped kitchen area which includes a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas oven & hob and a microwave.
The first floor consists of two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a family bathroom with walk in shower.
On the second floor is the family bedroom which has two double beds and plenty of space for a cot or additional single bed, if required. There is also an en suite washroom which houses a toilet and washbasin.
We made up all of the beds ready for your arrival and a bath towel is provided for each guest. The towels are for interior use only, you have to provide your own pool/beach towels.
Outside the cottage is a private area with patio table, chairs and a barbecue.
If you want a get away from it all break or holiday then this is definitely the place to come and chill out.
We do have our own animals including a few dogs and several cats so our guests are also welcome to bring their pets so long as they are well behaved and kept under control at all times. There is an additional charge of £50.00 (55 Euros) per pet for the duration of your stay.
Between the months of September to May any heating used is an additional charge. There is oil fired central heating radiators in the two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor of this cottage, in the second floor bedroom and on the ground floor there are liquid fuel heaters. The fuel for these can be purchased in our local supermarket or from the owners. There is also a log burner on the ground floor, logs can be purchased for 10 Euros per basket.
