Description

A luxury top floor apartment set directly on the waterfront with easy access to Plymouth, Dartmoor, South Devon coastline and Cornwall. Located in the award winning historic Royal William Yard which has been carefully restored including a wide choice of restaurants. Free allocated parking space for 1 car is included.

Set in the Clarence building, this is a very light and spacious 2 bed/2 bath apartment (one king size en-suite bedroom, one twin bedroom) with study area/5th bed. There is a modern open plan kitchen area with dishwasher, coffee machine, bread making machine and a separate utility room with washer and tumble dryer.

The apartment has attractive and fresh interior design, high quality and comfortable furniture and beds. All the windows and balcony have wonderful west facing views over the Tamar towards Mt Edgcumbe In Cornwall.

With double height vaulted ceilings, exposed original roof trusses and glass skylights, the apartment is very light & airy and full of character. All the main rooms are on the same level and have fantastic water views and beautiful sunsets. There are often Royal Navy ships passing by as well as the Cremyll ferry.

Please note new ownership from October 2021.

Clarence is a quiet residential building, no parties, no smoking, no pets, accessible by stairs (no lift).

Not suitable for children under the age of 5 (please contact us for suitability)

There is no lift to the second floor, unfortunately access to the apartment may not be suitable for those with mobility problems.

Getting around

A seasonal ferry operates from Royal William Yard to the Barbican and to Cremyll plus a bus route runs from outside the entrance to the Yard to Plymouth City centre. Nearby there is also the Cremyll Ferry that connects to Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rebecca and Simon (the owner) a message.

If Rebecca and Simon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
