Description
The property is located only 5 minutes walk from the town square. There is a supermarket, post office, banks,
butchers, bakers and many tavernas and restaurants. There is also cycle hire facilities. English is widely spoken in Cyprus.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats up to six people. It is fully air-conditioned in the living areas and bedrooms, also there are fans above the beds.
There is also plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. And outside there is a patio table, chairs, and a BBQ.
The patio over looks the large pool, and there is also a toddlers pools, and a gym,sauna and Jacuzzi. Great for chilling out in!
Polis is situated next to the Akamas peninsula, this is national park and is ideal for walks and cycle treks. There are also a host of water sports at Latchi marina which is 2 kilometres away.

“Damp and cold”
The property is absolutely riddled with damp in both bedrooms. The rest of the house is fine. The complex itself is a nice place to stay. We left before our rental period was finished.

“Polis Gardens”
Beautiful complex and having ground floor apartment was really good with direct access to pool from small patio. Quiet and no noise at night. Very relaxing. Sunbeds and parasol provided. Plenty around pool area. Sofas are really uncomfortable so if you stay in watching TV it's worth bearing in mind. Beds need replacing or at least new mattresses as could feel the wooden frame. Kitchen facilities great with everything you need. Supermarket 5 mins walk away. Pizza, coffee shop, butchers and takeaway kebabs on same block but old town is 20 mins walk down a main road. Beach at campsite was scruffy, cafe full of flies, but walking further towards latchi seemed a bit better. 30 mins walk to campsite then another 30 to 40 mins along a good walkway all along waterfront to latchi harbour from campsite. Hadn't realised Polis Gardens was so far from waterfront and if you like the beach and don't like walking in the heat would recommend a car or a different resort. Old Town is nowhere near waterfront. Quite a few restaurants closed, some may never open but others may have been due to being early in season. Best food we had was Herb Garden and bit more expensive at Finikas. Best cocktails at La Terrasa 4u in old town and they are opening new bar near Herb Garden called Rever which looks very classy. Don't bother with Saddles in old town for breakfast, driest scrambled eggs we've ever had and no butter on the toast.

“Great little townhouse”
This is our 5th visit to Polis Gardens but our first time staying at Helen’s place. A great quiet complex perfect for families with young children. The house is clean and tidy and has everything we needed. Including a bbq which we used a couple of times. The swimming pool is virtually in the back garden and generally is very quiet and not busy! Monday and Wednesday mornings there is a lady who comes to do aqua aerobics class for an hour who is very loud and noisy so the pool is best avoided at these times! The complex as a whole is well maintained and cleans We had some issues with the internet and the washing machine whilst we were there but these were sorted very quickly by Kim the contact for the property in Cyprus. This will not be our last stay at Polis Gardens!
