Casa Malvarosa, is a charming and delightful house in the heart of the picturesque Positano.It sleeps 6 people. It features a spacious terrace overlooking the sea, one large living room, one double bedroom, two twins bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a separate kitchen.The house is easily located by Positano's main road (Viale Pasitea) by a small set of steps.The house is elegantly furnished and features a lovely garden offering a beautiful view of the legendary isola dei Galli, where the mythological mermaid were said to have lived and tried to seduce Ulisse with their singing, and overlooking the Fornillo beach and the famous Saracen Tower of Clavel.The main beach (La spiaggia grande) is easily reachable through the road or the few steps (la scalinatella, the old steps of Positano) . From the main harbour you can board ferries to Naples, Sorrento and Amalfi and also the island of Ischia and Capri. From the pier you can also board the little local boat (gozzo) that will take you to the local beaches such as Il Fornillo and the Laurito beach. All the amenities; shops, restaurants, bar, hairdresser, newsagent, minimarket and delicatessen are nearby.Distances are as follow:500 meter from taxi50 meter from main road and bus stop50 meter shops and restaurants400 meter Pharmacy150 meter beach50 meter parkingThe local shuttle stop is only few meters away. The shuttle goes around Positano in a loop. There are also bus route to to Praiano (nearest village along the coast) and Monte Pertuso, the highest peak of Positano where to dine at one of the few restaurants or go for the beautiful walk along what is known as the God's Path (Il sentiero degli Dei). The name says it all, the view is breathtaking!Positano can be reached from Naples by Hydrofoil, ferry, bus or taxi. It also offers a perfect spot to visit other famous location such as Pompei and Herculaneum, Amalfi, Capri and Ravello.The house is tastefully decorated with all comforts.The terrace offers the perfect area to enjoy dinner and sunset cocktails embraced by the beautiful flowers and perfumes.Casa Malvarosa is a wonderful and magical place where you will want to return again and again.I leave you with a quote from John Steinbeck who visited Positano in the 50's and fell in love:“Positano bites deep.
