Description

Le Moulin de St Blaise is just a 15 minute stroll from the local village where you can pick up your morning croissants or lunchtime baguette. The quaint town of La Chartre sur le Loir is just a 5 minute drive away, as is the local supermarket where you can stock up on all your needs.

Your holiday can be as active as you like! Local activities include water sports and swimming at the lake beach at Marcon, jet skiing and quad bikes, archery, fishing, golf and many more outdoor pursuits. Le Foret de Berce with wonderful walks and cycle tracks is just 15 minutes away. Visit the stunning Chateaux of the Loire or try out the local wines with a wine tasting.

Alternatively just kick back and relax, dangle your feet in the river and enjoy your holiday in our 10 acre grounds in a truly tranquil setting.

La Maison du Frere is attached to the mill buildings at Le Moulin de St Blaise and is entirely self contained. It has has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom (bunk beds which can be separated) and a shower room. The kitchen, dining and living area are open plan. It also has a private, fenced patio overlooking the river.

The property has been sympathetically restored, with painted beams, original old floor tiles and bags of charm. The fully equipped kitchen and light airy feel make this truly a home from home.

Le Moulin de Saint Blaise is set in 10 acres with a river running through. Guests are welcome to stroll around the grounds and fish in the river.

A barbecue is available for guests use, as is a range of outdoor games - badminton, boules, quoits or archery.

NB: Since we are surrounded by water it is guests' responsibility to ensure that children are properly supervised at all times.

Response from the owner Many thanks for taking the time to give us a review! It was lovely meeting you. (It should be noted that your review has gone against our 2 bed holiday cottage reference - it should have been for our bed and breakfast accommodation. I have told trip advisor about this problem before). It was unfortunate that when we purchased the new sun loungers at the beginning of the summer, we didn't remove the worn out ones! This has now been rectified and we've added more new chairs so that there is now seating for 12 outside in addition to the sun loungers. Having been declared a natural disaster zone at the end of May, due to flooding - the outside area sustained quite a bit of damage this year. In addition the front parking area was dug up by the local authorities to enable the installation of fibre optic cable which should speed up our internet provision. Thankfully, the outside areas are now back to their normal well-maintained condition.
