Description

Located in the Portes du Soleil, south facing apartment in Petit Châtel (1280 mtr alt, approx. 2 km from Châtel centre) sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults up to 3 children, with glorious views of Châtel valley. Parking space, garage (for mountain bikes) and a large external cupboard as well as ample cupboard space inside. WiFi, British FreeSat TV as well as French TV. Frequent free bus service to town centre and ski lift stations stops right outside the apartment building. The nearest ski lift is a few minutes bus ride away.

Please note: the apartment is on the 1st floor but entry to the building is on the 3rd floor, access is via stairs.

We just have a few house rules:
1) Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
2) Wet gloves must not be put on radiators to dry as this damages gloves and radiators, there is a boot and glove dryer in the outside cupboard, or they may be placed on shelves above radiators.
3) Wet linen and clothing must not be hung over radiators or the balcony balustrades, clothes dryers are available in the cupboards.

“Comfortable apartment, conveniently placed, with brilliant views.”

This apartment for 4 people is in a modern but tastefully built small chalet block about 1 mile from the village offering amazing views through 180 degrees with the balcony facing approximately south-west. The 2 bedrooms are of equal size but the one with bunks feels bigger because it offers much more floor space. There is ample storage in both rooms with additional space in the living room and a store in the lobby area. The kitchen is well appointed with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc. - not one of those places that gives 4 mugs for 4 people so you are not always washing up. TV with "FreeSat" box and WiFi both worked perfectly. Being a "mature"(!) couple we rented the 4 person apartment for the 2 of us and were VERY comfortable.
