Description

Cowslip is a detached one level cottage set in the 5 acre grounds of GORSLWYD Farm .The farmhouse itself dates back to 1750 , however a new innovative sound healing centre also exists on site .

The tariff includes bed linen , tea towels , gas for cooking , electricity , timer heating , full kitchen with pots and pans .

Owners are onsite to provide extra assistance or sound healing when requested.

GORSLWYD is positioned at the bottom of a no-through road so is a safe place for children to run free on our playing field and also is a superb retreat space with a woodland pond walk , secret garden , meditation garden next to a stream , games cabin, summerhouse, chapel , ponds and paddocks , yet easy access to the local, very different beaches of Aberporth ,Tresaith ,Penbryn Llangranog , and the Pembrokeshire coast.

Cowslip is a two bedroomed cottage set on its own overlooking one of our paddocks . It has a fully equipped kitchen , bathroom, lounge, freeview tv/dvd and with free wifi , the twin bedroom is small and more suited to young children than adults for anything longer than a few days , it really is a great place to relax.

Our animals include dogs , cats , chickens and ducks

GORSLWYD farm was originally set up with the disabled visitor in mind . All cottages have access to our laundry of industrial washing machines and tumble dryers , as well as our new toilet/wetroom facility .

We have achieved our green tourism Gold award and we are constantly working towards decreasing our carbon footprint.

We loved the area so much we moved here , but don't take our word for it , come and see for yourself!

changeover days in the summer vary per cottage

Sorry no dogs in this cottage , but Clover is our 2 bed cottage that does , personal towels £5 per person . Free slow WIFI

“Amazing place, highly recommend”

We had a truly special holiday at Jenni and Ali's lovely Gorslwyd Farm. Although booked into Cowslip Cottage, we found out a couple of weeks before that we were moving into Cornflower Cottage, which was larger and very comfortable with everything we needed. The location is perfect and within easy reach of 5 stunning beaches and bigger towns. The weather was so kind to us, we had 4 days on the beaches! Plus 2 boat rides to see the dolphins and the seals. My nephews just loved Gorslwyd and wanted to be back early each day to be with the animals (alpacas, hairy pigs, ducks, geese and cats!) and play on the field. This really was a memorable trip and a special place, made more special by Jenni's sound healing sessions if that's something you're interested in. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful 4 days.
