Chalet Melchior is a magnificent ski in / ski out chalet arranged over three floors and sleeps up to 11 people in true alpine chalet chic style. A sister chalet to the very popular Chalet Balthazar in the centre of town, Chalet Melchior is in prime location just above the main Villars' Roc D'Orsay telecabine so skiing from the back door and ascending to the main ski domain couldn't be easier (the telecabine also runs in summer). Families and groups can benefit from our unrivalled and highly praised concierge service while staying in either chalet ensuring they have the best holiday possible. Our guests can enjoy great 'down time' or apres ski with a roaring open fire in a beautiful open plan living room, 50" TV, Netflix, SwissTV, Amazonvideo and DVD while children can enjoy the games room either playing on the Xbox or watching DVDs. The professional 'Varenna' kitchen is a pleasure to spend time in with everything a professional cook should need including two 'Gaggenau' ovens, a huge 'Liebherr' fridge, a breakfast / drinks bar, gas burners, dishwasher and storage for up to 40 wine bottles. A deep double sink, stunning granite tops and panoramic views of the mountains as wells the 'home run' piste where skiers make their final descent of the day. There is ample space around the extendable dining table with enormous sliding doors onto the deep balcony with breathtaking views. A truly stunning setting for every meal.

All the bedrooms are beautifully presented with deep pocket-sprung beds imported from England and Egyptian cotton sheets. Tastefully furnished with ample built-in storage, warm under-heated parquet floors, rustic wood and yet more stunning views to enjoy. All of the upstairs bedrooms are en suite and the master also has its own mirrored walk through dressing area.

Bathrooms are luxurious yet practical with either power showers or deep baths by 'Villeroy and Bosch' with fluffy white towels of course. Three further bedrooms are on the lower ground floor and a large family shower room together with a well equipped laundry room.

There is wifi throughout the chalet and a huge garden for everyone to have fun in and explore. There is a wellness area with a large hot tub and total parking space (exterior) for 5 cars. Available to rent for short or long periods and ideal for groups or two families sharing.

Chalet Melchior is very private yet close to the centre of Villars village where there are restaurants, bars and shops.If travelling by train, there is a rail service direct from Geneva Airport to Aigle (a 20 minute journey by car/taxi to the Chalet) to the next stop Bex where you can change and take the mountain train direct to Villars. Villars is approx 75 minutes from Geneva by motorway and a regular train service connects Geneva airport to Bex or Aigle nearby. The chalet is 5mins drive from the train station. All the major car rental firms are situated at Geneva, Basel and Zurich Airports.
