Description

The cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard and it has full double glazing.

The Lounge has oak beams and a vaulted ceiling with 2 leather seated sofas and dining area.

Bedroom 1 has a four poster bed and fitted wardrobes with oak beams and vaulted ceiling. Bedroom 2 has 2 full size single beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar.

There is a large shower with WC and connecting doors to both bedrooms there is also a separate cloakroom.

Getting around

There is good bus links into Norwich with a bus stop in the village. There is a park and ride into Norwich 4 miles away so you can bus in if you don't want to drive into the city. Train service can be taken from both Norwich and Diss and run every half an hour to London which is under 2 hours away.

“Lovely place”

Very convenient place all on one level, just of the A140. Beautifully clean and well equipped. Owners make us feel very welcome. More than generous welcome pack. Had some nice walks Would like to come again.

“A Gem”

We have just returned from a four night stay at Aswad Barn. This was a last minute booking and we were so fortunate to have found a little gem. The accommodation has all you could possibly need for a short break or, equally, a much longer stay. It is immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, quiet and very well equipped with all manner of kitchen utensils, crockery, cleaning materials, books, DVDs, local attraction information. There was tea, coffee, milk and biscuits to welcome us on our arrival and a large supermarket is not very far away. We spent quite a lot of time seeing the local sights and enjoying the good weather and it was lovely to return at the end of the day to such a lovely haven. With the added security of private parking behind a locked gate, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Linda and Mel have created something quite special here and we have no hesitation in highly recommending a stay there. Thank you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
