Medieval village house 30 minutes from Nice
General
Throughout the year the village is full of life, with boule activity at the square, concerts outdoors and in the castle, weekly markets, arts- and craft shops. There are good selection of shops and many restaurants (over 10), including at least one described in the Michelin guide .
Access
Normal traffic is not allowed inside the inner part of the village. There is spacious free parking just outside the village center, a few minutes to go. Quiet cheap parking in the village square of 200 m from the house. There are buses to Vence and Grasse.

In 1st floor there is a large hall with wardrobe, bathroom with shower, tub and bidet. Large living room / bedroom with its own second intrance.
In 2nd floor is the open kitchen with dining area. Half-floor down from the dining area there is a lounge with its own fireplace. A second bedroom is also on this floor.
On the top floor there is a terrace of 7 sq.m. facing west with nice views of the mountains, the valley and the glimpse of the sea at Cannes. The terrace is sunny and pleasant and completely shielded from view. On this floor there is also a bedroom and a second bathroom including a big shower. There is also a basement of about 10 sqm on the ground floor for bicycles etc.
Standard
The house has a very good standard in traditional French style. Original red tiles on the floors in all rooms, whitewashed walls and great beams. New electrical wiring has been hidden in the walls. The house consists of two original medieval town houses which were modernized 1990s and turned into a home, giving an airy and spacious good feeling, while the original charm and atmosphere has been preserved, specially with the very solid, thick walls. Architects have been responsible for the modernization, giving an exciting mixture look between old and new styles. The house is very quiet and peaceful and it is suitable for use all year round.
