Description
This is a Castel builded between the XVI and XVII centuries. At that time it was a fortification of the Empuries Compter, later on it became a farmland and currently is owned by a Catalan family.
The place is sorrounded by the beautiful area of Alt Empurdà. From the Castel you have 10 minutes driving to Empuries and l'Escala (beaches, seawalks, bars, restaurants...) 20 minutes driving to Sant Pere Pescador beaches (water sports: wind and kite surf, Aiguamolls de L'Empordà...) If you have further questions about amenities we can get in touch and I will give you more information.
On my opinion one of the best points of the property is that you're in a really quiet area where you can take a break and be surrounded just by nature but at the same time you're close to amazing beaches (Costa Brava, Golf de Roses), beautiful villages (Peratallada, Figueres, Castelló d'Empuries, Pals…) and you're able to practise summer sports (windsurf, kitesurf, cycling, trekking…)
The Castel is a two floors property. The floor that is rented is the second one. As you can see in the pictures the floor has three double bedrooms, one bathroom, one kitchen, a living room and a terrace. The floor is fully equiped: fridge and freezer, oven, TV, internet, shower towels, blankets... The first and second floors are independent one from the other so there's no privacy problem.

“Beautiful place and lovely hosts.”
A lovely and charming setting with views of the sea and the hills. The owners were extremely friendly, spoke English well and were happy to show us around. Electricity could be a problem but not insur… More
