Located deep in the heart of the South Hams, you will find The Lawns, No.5 Colmer House. A stunning South Facing large Luxury Holiday Apartment set to highest of standard. Part of the Colmer Estate, it is set in 28 ares of private grounds, with an extensive range of year round indoor and outdoor leisure facilities.

Colmer House is an 18th Century Georgian building, sympathetically renovated and restored to its former glory in the mid-1990s and converted into a number of privately owned luxury apartments. The Lawns has very recently been refurbished to the highest standards offering comfort and practicality.

The Lawns has a south facing aspect and wonderful views from its windows across the grounds to the lake. The lounge doors lead directly to a large paved patio, surrounded by a balustrade wall which looks out over the immaculate lawns. The patio is private, sheltered and is furnished with a table, chairs and gas barbecue.

A private entrance leads directly to a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area with fitted kitchen. Tastefully decorated, the lounge features a cream 3 piece leather suite, brown leather dining chairs and table, TV, video and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble-drier.

Stairs lead to a large open landing, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Brightly furnished throughout, the master bedroom has a large double bed, generous wardrobes and a comfortable arm-chair to relax in. The large second bedroom has large 2 single beds and a 32 inches plasma TV on the wall and the bathroom features a bath, power-shower, toilet and hand basin, all equipped to a very high standard.

The apartment is brightly furnished, with a light modern feel and quipped to a very high standard. Electric central heating is provided with radiators in all rooms. Wireless broadband internet access is available to those who bring their own laptop.

There is a Z-bed available which sleeps another additional person.

- Outdoor Swimming Pool
The outdoor pool is open and heated from May to September. Next to the pool you may also enjoy playing table tennis.

- The Lake
The fishing lake is well stocked with carp and golden rudd and a fishing licence is available from any Post Office however children under 14 can fish without a licence.

- Fitness Suite
Above the indoor pool is a rowing machine, an exercise bicycle, a treadmill, a sit up frame and a bench press with weights.

- Adventure Play Area
This is situated in a clearing in the woods behind the tennis court.

- Walled Garden
Very exciting play equipment for children and a boules pitch for everyone to enjoy. There are also picnic tables to be found. Our walled garden is a very special, safe area and is the only place where ball games are permitted - a football goal net is provided.

* All the facilities listed above are shared with other outgoing and friendly people on the Colmer Estate. You are invited to use any of them.
